Great place to stay. Staff are great.only wish pool was indoor as it was closed again. Great food. Entertainment staff great. Kids loved it.

If I could give this place a 0 or -5 star I would! Turned up in our motorhome to stay for the night...it was very hard to find where we were supposed to stay as it was down a small road not sign posted and behind all the static homes right at the very back out of the way, we finally found the field after driving through rusty, old, green static homes left next to the swimming pool with over flowing bins all around. After one look at our pitch we turned straight around and left!

Visited Steeple Bay Holiday Park as a prospective purchaser for a holiday home. Was very disappointed to find that we were hurried around the site in a golf buggy to see the park and was then shown only 1 static caravan "similar" to what we wished to purchase. Got the impression that the staff had a busy day and had run out of steam for selling holiday homes. When you are looking to spend in excess of £25,000 (cash) on a holiday home you would expect to be made to feel welcome and not an inconvenience. Ended up purchasing a holiday home on another nearby site purely due to the lack of good sales service at Steeple Bay.

Had a 4day break in March as visiting family and friends. A bit muddy after all of the snow. Shop on site is basic, bread, ice cream. Disappointed with the amount of litter on site. But a great site for walking as it is situated right on the river Blackwater. If you like birdwatching you won't be disappointed.

Needs a lot of work especially restaurant breakfast was terrible, arcade nothing worked and anything that did was mainly aimed around gambling, shop had barely anything even newspapers, entertainment too loud even for kids, staff were polite and helpful however, accommodation very comfortable hence extra star.
