UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP 2018. This holiday Park has been purchased by an independent company. It had been run down and looking a bit sorry for itself during past years. The new company is investigating a lot of money to bring this holiday park back up to spec. The work is already underway and the old shabby caravans are being removed and replaced with shiny new caravans and Lodges. This is a perfect time to choose this park if you are considering purchasing a holiday home as the prices and deals are very competitive. It is also a very good time to book a holiday and have the opportunity to experience the improvements and upgrades for yourself. Highly recommended!

10 months ago-very secure & great staff-caravans excellent with heating (wind from estuary can be cold May&Sep)-great freedom for dogs-good for quiet hobbies fishing etc-small heated indoor pool & 'pub' but not much for children. Has camping area with water & electric-nice well stocked small shop which also does hot foods at times.Winding roads to get there & anywhere else -visit to Maldon interesting & nearby power station was closed.

Love this park. It's a very good price for what you get. Yes there are better parks for twice the price but has a good but small club house and a great pool. Again small pool so have to book during busy periods.

Sweet and simple complex. Facilities are all at the main entrance so once you're in its just caravans etc. So toilets aren't very convenient. That aside the complex was great for a bike ride and there is access to the beautiful river/sea and bridlepath. We managed to ride then walk to the village where we got an I've cream at the local shop (centre of village) and enjoyed a pint at the swimming pool has a lovely feel to it and the lifeguards are lovely. Evening disco was great fun and the bingo is always a laugh. Like any campsite there are a few undesirables but that is always to be expected. Like all park dean resorts it was reliable and fantastic value for money. Would definitely go again.
