Booked via website last year to get us somewhere, booked in advance, informed the car was on the way, no arrival so ended up contacting another firm, soon as we arrive at our other location got a text, your taxi has arrived oh its now cancelled as time was utterly wasted, extremely late to the event we were attending! Don't use, complete and utter time-wasters
Dissatisfied customer I have used. this taxi service frequently good service,fixed price. Rang today for pickup after leaving car for repairs, I was refused a taxi from destination to where I had been taken to before on numerous occasions Not happy there are taxi firms everywhere, if you want customer loyalty do better .
Great taxi company! Drivers are polite and the cars are always clean inside. They turn up on time and always apologise if they don’t! I’m happy!
Awful awful!! I called up to ask if they could pick up a package for my auntie who is on her death bed and none of the family are around. I know this is a big ask, as I was explaining I was met with the rudest operator 'WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME ALL THIS' 'HOW BIG IS THE PACKAGE' clearly didn't want to help. Ended up hanging up and calling amber cars who were so much more understanding! Sometimes in life you have to be kind. You never know what's going on in someone's life. I was so polite like I always am and can't believe how rude people can be. I hope your kinder to people in future as karma always comes back around!
The driver was kind. But they ended up charging me more than what the tracker displayed by a pound. No 23% discount. The office failed to return subsequent texts.
Well I don't know what to think .... Ordering the taxi was like talking to someone down a coal mine ..I could get a clear answer even to "hello can I book a taxi" at first and wasn't sure one was going to arrive at all ! 2 stars is for the driver who was friendly and polite but I was shocked there is now a standard pricing for a journey now from what I understood not mile by mile what should of been a £5/6 journey started at £10.90!!
Horrible experience with this company. They delayed me for 45 minutes. First they said they couldn't come to where I was even though when I booked they accepted. Driver asked me to meet him five minutes walk I didn't find him. I them moved to where I thought was easier Place to find and let them know. Waited again and when I called to find out how far the driver was ,I was rudely asked me why I kept moving location. Also their fault as driver refused to come to my first location. I only moved across the road as could see other taxes arriving there. Very accessible location in Northampton town centre. Ruined my whole evening as was so late to my destination.
I never leave reviews, but I felt I should warn! We’re from out of town, and this was the first available taxi company. Booked over the phone late last night and said we were going to need a taxi to Bedford Road Holiday Inn twice on the phone during the original booking and to the driver when we got in his car, but he still took us to the wrong holiday inn. It was late and we didn’t know the route so we weren’t aware till we arrived. Instead of accepting the mistake and taking us the couple of miles, he argued it was somehow our fault and charged us double to go to the hotel we asked for in the first place. We accepted it just to get back, but it was ultimately like £34 to go just a couple miles. Don’t take this service!
Called operator today and was extremely rude. He even mentioned that I was saying things wrong and patronisingly said you got it right now. I am a NHS employee and understand how to work in the public sector but to treat customers like that is extremely disrespectful. Highly advise not to use this company and book with Amber Cars who were so helpful and a lot more professional.
Always on time. Top set of lads. Return to Towcester Racecourse no issues, booked return, easy to get hold of on the phone. Would recommend Taxi Northampton, easy.
