Ordered a taxi for specific time. They dispatched it immediately. I was unable to take the call as I was in a meeting. Called them again when the taxi meant to arrive after the meeting they said they called but I didn’t pick up. Last missed call from Crosstown cars 20 minutes earlier than the taxi should have arrived. They dispatched another. Arrived 20 minutes later than I needed it for. No card payment option. Had to stop at an ATM this delay caused me to miss my train from Northampton to London where I need to make 2 more changes and get to Essex. Massive knock on effect. Poor customer service. Poorly equipped. I can hook you up with card payment solutions. Guarantee it will make your business so much more user friendly but for now unfortunately very poor service.
I have use them taxis for years and never had problem. Today I booked my taxi home with two kids and loads of shopping on top of it with really bad back. didn’t even stick head through the window to ask if I need some helpThe taxi driver was rude and no helpful what so ever on top tried shout at my daughter while I was trying put the shopping in to the car because the boo was full. Atmosphere in the car was I unpleasant and he didn’t helped take the shopping out neither. I’m really disappointed with that service as I never experienced in 10 years using the company
I have been using cross cars for long, reliable until today, on 17/11/22 I had to wait for 52 minutes for the second car to come, first car did not come after 'your car has arrived', driver was polite and appreciated my patience. Some days I book taxi to drop kids to school, as it's busy times car comes late 5-10 minutes, can't be blamed, so now I book 5 minutes earlier, most of the time car comes late which can't be blamed, one time car came early but driver was polite to wait, today car came early, I called the driver asked him to bear with me as he is early to the booking time, the driver drove off after waiting 10 minutes, it's not my fault that the driver came early, the driver was heartless to drive off after seeing me and two kids running just behind the car asking him to stop, executive from Cross Cars didn't have the courtesy to apologize when I questioned her call which was within 10 minutes from the booking time. Ordered Taxi last night. Told it was on way. 15 mins later I called to chase it and told its on way 5 minutes. 10 mins later still no taxi. Called again to be told the same. Why lie? just say your busy rather than leaving a vunerable person out in freezing cold late at night. Taxi actually never shown up. I was lucky enough to be offered a lift home by a staff member who just happened to lock doors
Disgusting drivers who work for this company. They threaten women with small children. Never again will I use them. County are so much better. There drivers support the vulnerable and disabled.
I’ve been using these for good while cause there cheap!! But recently the drivers have been very rude!! Tonight’s one that dropped me from spencer to kingsthorpe ussually costs me £7soemthing and this bloke charged me £9 something. And then takes me the wrong way which took longer. Disgusting drivers in how they talk. I won’t be using these again!!
