Brilliant fast booking and pick up. Driver was really friendly, despite being the early hours. Lost my car keys and rang Bounds to see if found. Driver had them but couldn't work out which fare had lost them. He held on to them until I called in and then brought them to my front door.Yes I paid for his journey but much less than fixing a broken car window!!! Fabulous thank you
I wish I knew the name of the man who just drove me home. The best company!! I always get such lovely people he was so lovely and we had such a nice conversation about work and life he gave me such lovely advise! Cannot recommend these people enough!! Thank you bounds for another safe journey to remember
This is the worst taxi company I’ve ever experienced, they are rude and always incredibly late. The drivers always charge more than the actual price. I just rang up to get a quote and the guy put me on hold for 30 minutes and then hung up, I rang back and someone else done the same thing
I booked a taxi online to pick me up from the airport, paid by card online, when I get to my destination the taxi driver says there is no payment, called his manager and said there is no payment, so he took me to a cash point to get the money. The man wanted to charge me nearly £30 more than the price showed on the website and the price I already paid online he said the website was wrong and I wouldnt have had any problem if I had bothered to speak to an operator. Well then, you shouldnt have the option to book and pay online if the system is not working properly. Used Bounds so many years, but never again.Service: Limousines
Overpriced - our usual taxi on this route is £5.00 maximum - Bounds charged my 80 year old mother £9.80 - when I called to query the price, I was told "IF THE OTHER COMPANIES YOU USE ARE CHEAPER, THEN YOU SHOULD TAKE THEM" Not helpful at all and could not care less that I believed we were overcharged. WILL NOT USE AGAIN
Rude driver, bad service! Price quoted was different to price charged. Driver even had the cheek to pull over change the meter, which cost money and ran up the time. To top it off, the driver didn’t even know the way to our destination. Ruined the start of our birthday meal trip out. Organised different transport home would not use again.
I have been using Bounds for years, so many times I have been let.down... I booked taxi last early 2 hours before tuesday as always for school run then straight to work. Good thing I trust my instinct I rang them and they haven't dispatched any taxi! I have to ring them 3x before they hit the dispatched button. Thats its thats the last straw you just lost a loyal customer and won't recommend you.
Bounds have gone down the pan. Shockingly bad. Disablist, they have know patience if you have a disability. Their auto system is a disaster it will say it has booked your taxi when it has not even allocated a taxi. Also, I don't want to hear drivers have a full on conversation on the phone. Bring on Uber. Bounds have way too much monopoly in Northampton and they are unable to deliver.Service: Limousines
Worst taxi company. Disrespectful driver call my daughter IT and this was after turning up 10 mins late on a pre booked taxi. They were bad years ago and still are will not give them a third chance. Would give them 0 stars if I could
Taxi booked at 05:45 to take a visitor to the station. It did not appear and I had to get up and take them myself. Message at 05:58 to say driver on the way and at 06:00 to say the driver was outside - neither use nor ornament as I was at the station at 06:04 dropping the visitor off. At that time in the morning little excuse for the delay especially as I had phoned and messaged the previous day to check it would be on time. Poor service.
