The first time I used this company my money went to Pakistan to learn English. I had fraud protection call me and I got my money back. The second time the driver said I took more than 5mins to arrive. I was knocking on his window and he ignored me and drove off. This is genuinely the worst taxi company I have dealt with in the world. I travel a lot for my work. Please never use this company and use Skyline around this area of town! Recent drive WO16 number plate. Mercedes Vito. Terrible driver! ... Rude and impatient! Please never use this company!
I prebooked a taxi to take me to work this morning, I am someone who gets alot of anxiety so I thought prebooking would make the whole journey easier. Unfortunately this was not the case, I was still waiting to be assigned a driver 15 mins after I requested to be picked up, and when I was finally picked up it was 25 mins after I asked to be picked up, making me 15 mins late for work! Driver was very friendly, understanding and apologetic and managed to get me to work as quick as he could. However, if you can't get a taxi to the person for the time that they booked, maybe give that person a courtesy call so that they can be prepared and or make alternative arrangements
EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM !! USE AMBER TAXI OR SKYLINE instead. The driver arrived 1 hour late than the original booking date. No flight tracking as committed. No replies to our emails. They charge customers extra money for being late, yet no refund for their poor timings.
A driver got my location wrong and then screamed at me for being at the correct location that I asked to be picked up from and when I say scream I mean he proper screamed at me who is a young girl on my own. Is this the kind of people you want working for your company and representing you as a company ? I used to be a on going customer but now ill take my money to a company who deserve it and don’t talk to you like you are dirt on their shoes. Have always used Bounds.. ..never again. Having waited over 1/2 an hour, called to be told 2 mins, after another 15 mins called again told 5 mins after another 10mins got a cab with Skyline, then got a call from Bounds taxi to say they were there!! Too late, on way home by then. Atrocious service tonight.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS ! ABUSIVE DRIVER ! He pulled out in front of me causing me to slam on my breaks then fragile glass in the back of my car broke, I beeped him then he got out the car came to my window and punched my window, shouting and swearing. my 3 year old was in the car and was crying saying he was scared.
Really bad service I pre-booked the taxi I wanted a few days before and asked if they accept card and they said yes and I asked how much my ride is and they gave me a figure . Then I had to call the company so many times on the day of my journey, they kept saying the taxi is on the way, then the last time I called they said the taxi I booked cancelled on me which they missed to tell me when I had called them the other many times or they didn’t even inform me by calling or messaging which they could have, by this time I was standing in the cold for 15 mins. Then the taxi driver tells me they don’t accept card which I was told by the company on the call that they would. The drivers communication was poorly and when I asked about how much the taxi ride would be he told me another £ which was different again to what I was told by the company on call and he would start shouting and raising his voice when I told him this is not what the company said to which he said he doesn’t care what they said to me. It was very stressful and I was late to where I needed to be.
Used to be great but not anymore. Booked a taxi through the app on Friday with a wait of 2 mins for collection. Driver then immediately marked the job as arrived, despite the tracking showing them not even close to the pickup point. Waited another 10 mins before calling support, the man on the phone really didn’t care, said it was an accident and the driver would be there in 10 minutes. They then cancelled the job and to book again would be a 30 min wait. They also charged me a no show fee as the driver had put arrived. I had said to pay with Google Pay, the holding fee and the cancellation charge, when I didn't cancel, were not even mentioned. Shocking service.
Bounds Taxis They used to be reliable, but now terrible. Every time we book a cab it arrives late, usually over half an hour late which makes us late for restaurant bookings. Last time we chased the cab and were told "he's just dropping off a fare and will be within you in 5-10 minutes." Didn't arrive. We chased again and were told the exact same lie. Eventually he arrived 35 minutes later. We asked the driver why he was late and he said he has just started his shift. He also said if you use the app, you can pay £2 extra to prioritise your booking. So you have to pay extra for a chance of getting your cab to arrive on time. Shocking! To make it even worse, they also now charge "a waiting time" of anything from £0.20 to £2.50 if you don't leave your house/venue and get in the cab on time. Yet they never tell you they are there, or they tell you 2 mins before they arrive so they can hit the button early making out they are there so they can charge "waiting time". Absolute con artists. Last time we will use this firm.
First time using a taxi service since moving to Northampton previously lived elsewhere in Northants, went with Bounds as had at least heard of them before. Not great experience either going to destination or going back home. Driver going to venue was polite but took me on longer route despite my asking for shortest route, so ended up paying £3 more than originally quoted. I had pre-booked my exit as well, as it was a Saturday night and knew it would be busy, but despite pre-booking, it still took them 15 mins after my booked time to assign a driver. By this time I had already been subjected to multiple lewd words and gestures by drunk males as I waited for my taxi, something no lone female should have to put up with. I did everything to avoid that situation by pre-booking and Bounds still put me there. When I called Bounds whilst waiting, woman on other end of phone was very unsympathetic, very easy for her to dismiss my concerns when she was safe in her office or even answering calls at home. Again, driver taking me home was polite but knew very little about area where I needed to be dropped off at, so I had to direct him. I was quite happy to be dropped off at end of road live on narrow cul-de-sac where turning round can be a pain the further down you go but thought driver might at least pull into the road a bit where it was easier to get out rather than on main road next to cul-de-sac. Overall, not great experience and Bounds subjecting me to those drunks because of their disorganisation soured what had been a good evening for me. Will look into other options if needed again.
