Food is expensive for what you get. Especially cake pops designed for children. The staff are always lovely. Sometimes the tables are sticky and could do with a better clean, same as the chairs and seating.
I tend to visit here once a month. Usually it’s good coffee and I’ve had the ice drinks often, but today my frappe didn’t taste of strawberry at all and was chunky with too much ice : It just tasted like it was made with too much ice. The service was quick though.
Sat in Hedge End retails centre enjoying a £5 coffee and a £5 fruit juice by the look of it, at 11.20am.....only two tables within the whole restaurant seemingly free from previous customers empty mugs, plates, used cuttlery, empty packets, crumbs etc...nnI mean I appreciate you may be busy at times, but when I see no customers waiting, surely you want to be busy clearing tables and making the establishment look decent, rather than a run down old greasy spoon Cafe?nnEven I, who wouldnt normally give a monkeys, am sat here in disbelief after daylight robbery at the till, and nowhere to sit in a quarter empty restaurant, unless I want to clear the tables myself.
I very rarely bother to leave bad reviews, but this was honestly the worst Starbucks experience I have ever had. Very very slow service, despite it not being very busy and SIX members of staff, most of whom were occupied with activities other than serving customers. While I was waiting, two other orders came through with errors and customer complaints. I won't be returning to this branch.
Not always the same service levels. Waited in long, slow queue at Drive in only to find when we got to the window, two disinterested young girls chatting but not actually doing anything until glared at. I understand they were young and probably bored but customers need to get on and get served which they are paid to facilitate. Chat when it's not so busy, ladies PLEASE.nnTo be fair, I'm next visit was served efficiently and very helpfully by young man who was the opposite and 100% better and deserved a 5* rating, Sorry your colleagues let you down
