I have recently purchased a suit from this store & I cannot compliment, more highly, the standard of service I received from Nicholas & his team. My wife & I were full of praise for Nicholas’s most professional manner & it is an absolute pleasure to deal with someone who has such a depth of understanding of the customer’s needs. Back in the 1960's the name, Marks and Spencer, was synonymous with Great Britain, great quality, great products and superb service. Fast forward to 2018 and you can remove the 3 greats, the 1 Britain and reduce superb, to above average. They charge British made prices, for sweatshop produced items. You could buy British leather products, from belts, gloves, shoes and jackets...now, likely to be made in Portugal, China or The Philippines? Sad to witness this demise of a flagship British company...and all in under 50 years.

Since my last post of 5 stars l have to downgrade to 4. This is due to the terrible lighting throughout the store, incredibly bright spotlights which are blinding and make it impossible to see the true colours of items. I mentioned this to a staff member and was told they have had many complaints.

I bought a savile row inspired suit which came with free tailoring and 20% in-store voucher but unfortunately the sleeves could not be shortened due to the button holes. Their master tailor (Nicholas) spent about an hour finding me an alternative one which although did not qualify for free tailoring or discount but they were happy to match my previous purchase. It's a great store with so many helpful and knowledgeable staff. The service I received was outstanding - thank you M&S team.

Very easy to get to. Large stock range. Lots of choice. It's very big and roomy. So not left feeling cramped in. All the staff were helpful and polite. I was picking up an item purchased in a different location. Very quick and efficient service. Staff here were very lovely
