Staff were clearly not interested in selling a sofa. No help in comparing the range, and the only comment with every sofa we looked at was "it probably won't fit through your door". As if they knew exactly what our house looks like. We went to Fabb Sofa next door which is excellent!

Very helpful team in the carpet dept whilst we were ordering and paying for a new carpet , however that's where customer service ended. The fitter did not arrive on the agreed day, the carpet dept were unable to tell us why as they had " no direct contact with the fitters" The following day as a token of apology it was agreed that we would be reimbursed the price of the underlay. The carpet was fitted but unfortunately a defect occurred and after eight days of chasing scs carpet dept, numerous calls to them and the fitter the problem remains unresolved. On day eight , after chasing the reimbursement frequently it has at last been repaid. This has been a really bad purchase experience, this company clearly has a severe communication problem with customers and poor continuity between staff. I would advise anybody reading this review to seriously consider looking for carpet elsewhere .

I feel quite generous even giving 1 star. Steer clear of SCS, terrible aftercare, terrible service and terrible quality. Will NEVER buy a sofa from SCS again, just don't put yourself through it because we have just pulled our hair out from start to finish.

CARPET FITTER NEVER SHOWED UP TODAY I CALLED SCS THEY TOLD ME CARPET FITTER COULD NOT BE CONTACTED ..THEN THEY SAID THE FITTER IS IN HOSPITAL !! THEY NEVER CALLED ME TO AAY THE CAROET WILL NOT BE LAID TODAY GOOD JOB I CALLED THEM AT 1PM TODAY OTHER WISE I WOULD STILL BE WAITING AT 6PM ! NOT HAPPY AY ALL !! CONTACTING THE MD NOW !! GOT ABAD FEELING ABOUT SCS .

This company is quick to get the Money off you and that's where their efficiency ends. Appalling custoumer services, we heard every excuse under the Sun for why our recliner chairs would not be delivered. After repeated phone calls and promises of our calls being returned (non of which were) it took a visit back to the store to resolve the issue. We were told repeatedly the problem lay with the manufacturer and that the promised delivery dates had failed because SCS work on a policy of assuming goods will be delivered. No calls are made to confirm deliveries will be made and no calls are made to the custoumer to let them know if a delivery will not be made. It is left completely up to the custoumer to to chase after their own goods as SCS accept no responsibility for their suppliers delivering on time. After repeatedly being told that it would not be possible to resolve the issue that day as it would take a few days to find out exactly what the manufacturers problem was. I am happy to say that after digging our heals and and demanding that a deliver date be set within the 4 week time period between order and delivery, we were informed that it would take an additional 3 weeks ) (7 weeks total) to produce and deliver the recliner, we left with a full refund. Seriously Folks this company will fill you full of blatant untruths to keep your money and keep you waiting. Don't be fobbed of by them, don't waste your time calling them when problems arrive, go back to the store and stand your ground or simply buy from DFS next door and save yourself some grief!
