Friendly owners , good size pitch's... toilets and showers clean , plenty of bins ,washup area and disposal points for waste water and dirty water. Walk over field's to mablethorpe..to take in the beach and amusements on the prom ....or head off with the Dog up the north or south of the main beach..
The site owner was nice and welcoming. Good pitch size and peaceful area. I am giving only four stars because of the toilets and the shower facilities. A single shower for men’s with no hook . They can easily fix such small things. Apart from that everything was great.
Been going here for about 5 years now in our tent with 7 children such a lovely place and safe to let the kids run round and play without having to watch them 24/7 and leave and quiet you get here you wouldn't get anywhere else.its a mile walk to the beach or into mablethorpe Upgraded to a tourer this year and tried it out on here first and had such a fabulous weekend we decided to become a seasoned pitch as we love this place and the owners are great and do anything to help or accommodate you. This one campsite I highly recommend for you to try I've met many people here over the years and only herd good reviews of everyone
Excellent experience myself and the wife and 4 kids loved. Everyday spent on site was very welcoming by staff and other campers. Toilets and showers all clean. We found the fridge and freezer is very handy to be equip with. Play area for kids is well looked after. We will be back again, wish we hadn't left today though we'll be back for sure. Thank Dawn owner for our welcoming stay.
Absolutely amazing campsite been 3 times and everytime its been a1 brilliant owners that are always there to help you. toilets and showers are Absolutely brilliant washing facilities are brilliant cannot fault this site A+++++++ from me and will deffo be my regular to go to place
4 nights here in August were my first 4 nights camping...ever. I figured that I could hardly share my negative feelings about camping until o experience myself, and it's only taken 45 years for this to happen. And I must say, I loved it. It's a great campsite with around 30 big pitches, and a toilet/shower block that's cleaned twice a day. The playgroup isn't much of a playground, but you make you're own fun on a campsite, right? The camaraderie with the tent residents next door was fun, with most days finishing with a few beers and a game of French cricket. Mablethorpe beach is only a 5 mins drive away, which is a big sandy beach. Salty's is worth a visit for fish and chips too. As I said, I really enjoyed this quiet, chilled campsite as my first camping experience and as a result there will be more.
We stopped here for a week with the family. Due to the size of the area we required to ensure that my grandson had plenty of space to play he is only 1 and safe we fiund that this was about the only place that could accomodate us. This turned out to be an absolute blessing. Having contacted the owners previous to our arrival and explained the situation the could not do enough to make arrangements for us. The facilities in the toilets and showers were spotless. There is a shop on site which was unexpectedly lower in prices than your local convenience store. This is open early doors and going back to my previous point about the facilities these were cleaned throughout the day and late at night which shows the attention the owners pay toward ensuring that we as campers /caravaners enjoy a great stay. The site is extremely safe and secure if you have young children and there is a gate that is locked at night this does not stop you returning but keeps traffic movement at night to a minimum which is there for your saftey. A fridge and freezer is available for you to use if required but do bear in mind that it is communal. There are plenty of water points and an area for you to dispose of gey water and waste water seperate. If you are looking for a stay nr mablethorpe then this is the place to stay. If you cant get in then change your holiday until you can. I and my family will certainly back. Thanks for a great stay.
It served the purpose for the night. The toilet facilities were really clean but unless there is another block I didn't see then I can't imagine what it would be like when it's busy as there is two toilets and a shower each for the men and women. There was also a big difference in the £3.75 the website states for camping compared to the £15 the lassie was expecting from me, I did not pay £15 I can say that.
Great campsite lot's of space for kids to play.. relaxed and friendly atmosphere.. About a mile away from mablethorpe town centre so it's a nice and quiet site.
Nice place but not enough toilets and showers. Only one shower and two toilets each for both sexes and long dangerous walk into mablethorpe. But a lovely campsite with play area and a dog walking area. I would definately stay here again.
