My sister had a van on here for a few years but sold it to the site. If you sell privately they want an exorbitant fee off you and if they buy it off you they offer you a pittance, so they have you either way. The metred electric is charged at a ridiculously high rate but the gas is the same price everywhere. Vans are not to have skirting fitted, making the site look untidy. But that let's cold air flow freely under your van hence more electric/gas used. Some of the roads on site were still waiting to be tarmaced as the site grows even bigger. Once a nice site but my sister had had enough. She is now on a 12 month site which works out cheaper than the 9 months on this site and a higher standard. Lack of permanent staff hinders the running of this site.
I use my sisters caravan here regularly as there is no letting of vans but they can be used by family. No shop on site. There are now 3 phases to this site with, I believe a 4th planned. Some roads on site are still waiting for tarmac to be laid. Very few staff ever on site so maintenance suffers. Whenever I call in to the office, it is always closed, just a mobile number stuck in the window. Lots of site rules but very very few are ever enforced. Only one area of refuse bins for the whole site. Mablethorpe just a 15 min walk away.
A quiet, private caravan site. No renting out allowed. Several new pitches being added. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome on site, but have to be exercised off site.
Quiet owners only site. Most are very friendly. Beware the over zealous wardens. The full time office and ground staff do a great job and are very friendly. I would like to see additional ground staff now the site is extended. Then it would look it's best all of the time. We have been on this site for four seasons and have no regrets.
Very happy at Bluedolphin been there 2 seasons now have lovely plot it’s a very well cared for site the only fault I can find is we don’t get informed of things that are going on but at least we don’t get stupid letters or texts telling me to weed the garden or to keep off the grass thank you all
Well it would be nice to be gretted with .and when you ask for paper work for a caravan to take so we can look in own time told I can see about it on the caravan.after we had been .my wife went to the door had the same answer in a not so nice voice.so we will not buying anything from you .we were told by a relation.
We have had a static caravan on the park for a couple of years now, we have only good things to say. The site operators take good care of their customers and the park is always clean and tidy. Nice quiet park, just what we were originally looking for and not one day since have we been disappointed. We would recommend.
Looks can be deceiving, initially you may think that the place isn't up to much. Take the time to appreciate to the locality and ease of access to the town. The park is clean and well kept and considering the amount of vehicles the grassed areas are weed free and maintained to a high standard, No muddy car tracks between vans. I am surprised at the amount of dogs here and to be honest I expected to be walking through a minefield of deposits..definately not the case.. I'm no dog poop spotter but the only one I did see came out of my dog which was picked up. The local pathways surrounding the park were the same, either someone goes out on a night and collects it or everyone in the area visitors included all seem to be responsible dog owners.. Full credit to Mablethorpe, was nice to actually walk around enjoying the place instead of having to scrape dog toffee from my shoes.
Myself and partner have been in isolation here, due to unforseen circumstances. Our health and safety has been Paramount for the management, wardens and ground staff. We can't wait for the park to open, so we can enjoy our caravan as a holiday accommodation.
