Stayed 6 nights camping apart from weather was really enjoyable so lets start with the good 1.Good value for money 2.Toilets and showers extremely clean 3.Swimming pool perfect 4.pub has cheap drinks and respectable prices for meals 5.Site very clean 6. Park for kids 7. Shop reasonable prices freddo for 25p 8. Staff friendly 9.free wifi with camping costs 10.pub very child friendly 11. Despite weather the camping field wasnt boggy even after a whole day of rain. Constructive criticism/bad 1. Toilets not labeled just has sign outside saying wear shoes at all times had to ask people where they was as at night couldn't see where they was as light inside is only activated when you enter. 2. Site map not clear could do with updating 3.needs signage around the grounds so campers etc know which way and where to go as in a sign saying you are here and this etc is here especially to entrance from field to caravan/static site. 4.toilets had no soap in mens 5.gate to camping site needs updating with possible manual arm barrier or key fob electric one. 6.electric outlets on the camping site which is nearest to statics would benifit as this could also allow soft standing for caravans and motorhomes, and then turn the football pitch into the camping pitch for electric and then another part of the field for non electric, then behind lot 1 on camping pitch turn that into the football pitch. 7. The cartwheel this pub is tired and could really do with a make over, the kids machines some was turned off not sure of this was out of order or just not switched on but if these was broke really want fixing or if they scrap get rid and replace with some older working machines for the kids as it has alot of potential. 8.the sunday carvery now as for the meat couldnt complain but the carvery itself first that bain marie from the 1970's/1980's throw it away and invest in a larger one as wasnt enough mash, stuffing etc available to cater for the people wanting food. 8.1 for carvery take it as bookings so the food can be cooked fresh and limits the amount of wastage 8.2 START DOING PUDDINGS to be available for carvery as this was a disappointment as the kids wanted pudding 9. Was disappointed that for a bank holiday friday there was no entertainment except bingo at least for the main weekends have it fully booked for entertainment also bingo every night is a bit boring.at least could have done sticky 13's 10. The shop could do with opening at 8am so is available to get things like milk etc and could do with selling sausages and bacon etc. This site has alot of going for it and with these things listed above updated or corrected would only improve/enhance the site and make it direct competition with even bigger sites, if you are after a holiday and dont want it to cost the earth this is the site for you with a family however it has its faults but nothing which couldn't be fixed and updated i hope next year when we come it has taken some of these on board and upated as it be even better week away.
Was lied to about siteting our caravan with excuses when I rang other offices was told Mason had reported nothing but untrue lies disgusted is an understatement if it was true I wouldn't mind people in there statics was gobsmacked and agreed it was all lies wouldn't recommend this site either neither is family friendly and Mason dosent like kids its quite clear he's very rude and noone in the statics like how he is with kids or adults and the rely from the manager ain't true either the only report they had was from Mason I took there fob with me home until they refund me the 71 they owe me for the 2 nights I didn't stay everyone in the statics will tell u that what the manager has wrote isn't true at all my husband went from the caravan home to work then returned when finished people in statics work from there caravan some work from there static some go to work from there statics I told Mason straight before I left due to the facts of lies he made up won't let me reply via her comment
Spent a couple of hours in the pool and sunbathing. It's free for site visitors and as we have a caravan on Sutton Springs it's one of the fab perks.
Just spent the last week here. Everything was perfect. Many thanks to Sarah and Kelly on reception. Nothing was any trouble and always had a smile and time for a chat. Tony, bar manager, you are fabulous, great with the boys teenagers, great fun, and very helpful. Entertainment is fantastic, bingo, raffles, singers etc. And food is just perfect. From Sunday carvery to bar meals at very good prices. We loved it that much, we've booked to come again....
We had a wonderful holiday at trustthorpe springs. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the facilities were great, the pool was well cared for and maintained. An exceptional dog walk, the cartwheel served reasonably priced and good quality food and drink and was very popular
Fantastic place!! we have just come back from camping this bank holiday weekend and we loved it. Staff are very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. very clean facilities and loads for the kids to do we will definitely be returning.
What absolutely gem of a campsite. We’ve just stayed here for the week and absolutely loved it. The outside pool and hot weather was just like being abroad. All in all it’s been perfect and we cannot wait to come back next year.

This was our 2nd visit to Trusthorpe Springs, and I know it won't be our last! Right from walking in to Reception to be greeted warmly by Sarah, we know we're in for a great stay! Having an 8ft wide twin axel caravan generally means we require a bigger plot, and for the 2nd time, we were positioned on the same large spot - pitch 6, which is perfect! This visit, we have been fortunate enough with the weather, which meant we've been able to access the outdoor pool. I was amazed at actually how warm it was! Even when we holiday abroad, I very seldom enter the pools as they're too chilly, however, this was like a bath for me - perfect! Staff here are ALWAYS friendly - despite it being peak season, staff are always willing to have a chat and make time for you, which never felt forced or false. Gutted, that despite really looking forward to joining in the Karaoke and Bingo night on our last night, we ended up having drinks outside the 'van with our 'camping neighbours', which was fab for us, especially as it was a balmy summers eve, but we really wanted to patronise the Cartwheel Club! Next year it will have to be...! We did have drinks in the bar, throughout our stay and bought food to eat by the pool which was very tasty and very reasonable: cheeseburger and cheesy chips! We have family nearby, and visit several times a year with our tourer, so we generally look for local sites - we normally never stay at the same spot twice, and have visited a plethora of local sites which don't always 'tick all the boxes', it would now seem we have found our perfect haven and 'home' here.
