We were camping for 9 nights and the area was lovely next to the lakes. Toilet and shower block close by which was kept clean throughout the day. Hot showers available 7am to 7pm. Plenty of on site entertainment, swimming was free but small payment for other activities. Plenty of food choices but recommend Quayside cafe/diner. Excellent food and reasonable pricing. Especially 2 for £15 which includes 12oz steak!

A big change since my last visit 15 years ago. Certainly updated a bit. Stayed in the lovely lakeside area of the Park, well worth paying the upgrade to a nice caravan with a veranda overlooking a small lake. Caravan basic but very clean and well stocked. The heating was not working but a trip to reception had this sorted immediately. Check in was fast and efficient and all the staff very helpful. A long walk to the seafront from Lakeside area. Didn't really use the facilities apart from the shop which was well stocked.

2nd time this year visiting Golden Sands this year. We visited during August bank holiday and we enjoyed it so much that we booked it again for Oct school holidays. We all had a fantastic time, didn't leave the complex for 4 days. The kids absolutely loved it. The entertainment team are all amazing and go above and beyond to make your holiday the best it can be. I don't know what you pay the entertainment team, but it's not enough. You have a truly talented team here. In our opinion, don't change a thing, you've nailed it. Keep up the good work Golden Sands, we'll be back again hopefully by the end of the year

We are currently here on holiday. On first view place is great, however the site is heaving with rats, one occasion I saw one go under our car and jump into the underside of the car and out again and decided to move the car to the car park at the sites entrance. We feel our holiday can't be as good as we want as we can't allow our daughter to play out the front of the caravan as rats just run by day and night and the general site of rats just make us feel uneasy. We also had an issue with our freezer and the site team said someone will be about to look at it and we have waited 3 days and no one has still come. This has made us question seeing out our holiday  On a positive note, we have enjoyed the family entertainment and our daughter has loved getting involved in different activities whilst being here.

We go here every year around the same time of the year, we've never had any issues with either the holiday park, the staff or being able to book activities. There is the seal sanctuary directly across the road, which is definitely worth a visit, the beach itself is very good. Its not too far too drive into Mablethorpe itself, overall as holiday parks go this is one of the good ones.

Very large park. Pre book everything you want to do,nothing much available otherwise. Had a 9 month old and there was nothing to entertain him. Soft play is a rubber mat, lift to upstairs is coded. None of the restaurants are dog friendly nor the amusement arcade. So much for advertising a dog friendly camp. Beach is approx 10/20 minute walk and the sand is lovely.

It was ok but we couldn't seem to get something as basic as hot water fr a baby's bottle until a very nice young male staff member got some fr us. The restaurant was closed Monday morning when we wanted drinks and snacks before leaving. Entertainment was good and the children enjoyed it though drinks prices were a little steep

Overal a really good site with some great facilities  It's been a good week away with the kids.  The newish play park with outdoor TV and seating, the aerial Adventure were really good.  Shame the ice cream stalls and papa John's wasn't open this week but there where plenty of other places to go.  Hopefully the rest of the site could get a bit of a refresh like the Galleon and the live lounge as they do seam very dated

Great location, lots to do for the kids.  Shop prices of course sky high so bring your own shopping, otherwise it was all good despite being out of season.  Worse burger king I've ever had though, however the restaurant was lovely.

Really enjoyed our stay at Haven! our caravan was gorgeous and packed full everything we needed, the entertainment was really good considering we went at the end of the season. Staff were excellent too. Would definitely visit and stay in one of the top end caravans again.
