We traveled from Sydney, Australia. Went there today for lunch with family, based on the reviews and we were not disappointed! Excellent quality food and flavors. Butter chicken was exceptional. All the dishes were great. Definitely will be back. Thank you for your exceptional service and quality.Food: 5/5
This is my second trip and it was an incredible experience. Ahmed, and the entire team here are fantastic and make you feel at home. I am an Indian, and honestly, the food reminds me of being at home! So very well done! Vegetarian options: The menu is very appropriate for both vegetarian/ gluten free coeliac Great food and no worry! Absolutely what you need
Absolutely loved my experience here! The customer service is top tier! Ahmed was so accommodating and really helpful when choosing the menu choices. Love the food. Great vibes and very affordable. Highly recommend!!!Food: 5/5
Choose another one! You are on Brick Lanne! - The food is ok, you will have somehow good indian food, but expect nothing special. Papadams are expensive, but you would do them better, if doing yourself at home. The spices are ok, but not exactly right. The service, unfortunately is bad. No one really cares, waiter come with food in their mouth. Ambience is nothing to shout hurray. - Choose another one next to it. Why not yellow… Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options. Unfortunately the samosas for example are not self made.
We got stopped while walking past, and we had our doubts, but....oh my god, it was amazing. We got incredible value for money, so much food for really good value. The service was so friendly, we had a server called Ahmed, and he was so attentive. I can not recommend this enough for a great deal Indian meal in Central London. Please visit this place, these guys are so nice and they definitely deserve your visit.
Quiet afternoon lunch at Standard Balti house. Ordered lamb biryani which was served with slightly spicy veg curry. Overall satisfied and happy with the food and service. 15mins walkable distance from London Liverpool Street station. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5
Warm and welcoming interior, quick and friendly service. I wasn’t very hungry and they kindly allowed me to just order a few side dishes. The tarka dal had lots and lots of garlic really nice with this current cold weather and sag paneer was super creamy and subtly sweet. Dietary restrictions: I’m gluten intolerant and they had allergens clearly marked next to all dishes.
'THE' Standard for food on Brick Lane. We have been coming to Brick Lane as a family tradition for many years, and have naturally sampled quite a lot of what is on offer. It was a quiet wednesday night in January, and we were on our way to our usual restaurant of choice, but we met Ahmed, who promised us the world and didn't fail to deliver. 10/10 food and service. rest assured, you're in safe hands. Anyone is welcome here, Ahmed will look after you.
Got dragged into this place from the man on the street, there was a promise of drinks and a meal deal. We had no idea how it was going to be but they really came through. £20 for starter, main, rice, naan and 2 drinks - I would argue one of the best deals in London. And actually really tasty! Balti special is recommended. Special shout out to Ahmed who wanted to be a big part of our evening !
Ahmed was an especial charm and a great host of our experience! Excellent service, delicious food, lovely area — every single aspect of our dining experience was wonderful and well cared for. Would highly recommend!Food: 5/5
