Amazing South Indian restaurant in East London. Great crispy dosa and Fish curry. They adjusted the spiciness for us and it was perfect! Friendly staff and super chilled atmosphere. Licked the plates clean! Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Best masala dosa I had in UK. They have options for awesome non veg masala dosas as well. I’ve tried chicken masala dosa, prawns masala dosa, plain dosa, ghee roast, medhu vada and bhel puri, every dishes were really good. And I really loved the mango chutney they provide as a side dish. I would recommend the restaurant any day for South Indian dishes.
Perfect for what it is, we got dosa and paraote breads and Brinjat eggplant masala and it was excellent and flavorful. A bit of heat but not too spicy, while the atmosphere is exactly as it should be for a semi-takeaway shop, three stars conveys that you shouldn’t expect tablecloths and fancy settings. The proprietor was lovely to talk to and we had excellent service.
I had Dosa, I really liked it! The service was extremely polite. Would go there again and definitely recommend it.Food: 5/5
I visited Dosa Corner on a cold evening, looking for some comfort food to warm me up. I was not disappointed by the cosy atmosphere and the friendly service of this restaurant. The menu offered a variety of South Indian dishes, from dosas to curries, and I decided to try the lamb and potato curry with parota and the steaming hot egg dosa. The lamb and potato curry was rich and flavourful, with tender pieces of lamb and soft potatoes in a spicy sauce. The parota was a flaky and buttery flatbread, perfect for dipping into the curry. The egg dosa was a thin and it came with two different chutneys: coconut and tomato. I enjoyed the contrast of the savoury dosa and the sweet and tangy chutneys. The portions was okay and the prices were reasonable. I was very satisfied with my experience at Dosa Corner, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty and authentic South Indian meal. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars, only deducting one star for the slightly slow service during the peak hours.
A totally fabulous curry..... I l9ve this little gem of a restaurant. The dosa's are fantastic but today I tried ginger chicken and cabbage thoran.... oh my word, it was fabulous..... can't recommend this place enough.Food: 5/5
It's been a while since I've had a good masala dosa. Was in the area and decided to grab a snack which lead me to find this gem of a place. The aroma of freshly made dosas had my taste buds doing a happy dance. Tried the chicken masala dosa, and boy, was it a flavor-packed joyride! It arrived at my table looking like a crispy, golden-brown envelope, holding within it the chicken masala filling. The accompanying sambar, coconut and tomato chutneys were delicious making every bite a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Concluded with a cup of masala chai. As if the chai wasn't amazing enough on its own, they even served it with jaggery powder on the side, adding a unique touch of sweetness. I wouldn’t change a thing – except maybe asking for a bigger stomach! Highly recommend!
Must not recommend, staff is very rude and aggressive to make their point, I had ordered chicken Briyani and he made it sweet and he put pineapple syrup on the top Briyani. When I asked it is sweet and the chef along with manager started explaining me aggressively that this how we make Briyani and I should tell them before that I don’t want pineapple syrup on top. Can anyone tell him how would I know what he serve me
Just as I’m writing this all the great flavours of dosa world are coming back to me. Tasty sambar, crisp and light dosa, yum filling. I need to go back!! Great service. Early dining so wasn’t too busy. Went for the paneer masala dosa. Very good
Best South Indian Food which i had in London. The staff is very friendly and the prices are also moderate. If u love spicy south Indian food u should definitely try Rasam Vada ,which really very yummy. For Dosa, For vegetarians i would recommend Mysore paneer masala as the best Dosa which i had. Idli chilly is also good. For dessert u can try Pistacho Ice cream which is very limited but really yummy. Very superb place in BrickLane, Central London .
