Our 3rd visit and loved every one. Friendly staff who take time to chat - brilliant offers and fantastic food. Chicken saag was the best I’ve had, lamb bhuna delicious and beautiful bhajis and chicken chat for starters. The rice was perfect. Looking forward to our next visit already.Food: 5/5
This place was great - most dishes were lovely I’ve had better peshwari naan, the tikka was a bit too sweet and great value for money on a Saturday night at £25 per head to include a starter, main, rice and naan + drink! The service was top notch, very attentive - despite it being a busy night - great banter and friendly. One qualm is a group of 10+ lads in a table next to us we’re incredibly rowdy and, I understand the sensitivity of the situation, but nothing was done to ask them to keep the noise levels down for the sake of other guests. This, along with cramped tables, unfortunately ruined the atmosphere but it’s an all round 5 stars on any other night I’m sure.
We had a great meal here with the family - busy with a great atmosphere. Service was super good and friendly. We really enjoyed all our dishes. Would definitely recommend Food: 5/5
Can’t recommend it enough! Best naan bread I’ve ever had! Great service, fresh food and friendly staff! Definitely coming backFood: 5/5
Just had a fantastic meal here! Came in with the family, really friendly staff and amazing food. Would highly reccomend Kid-friendliness: Staff were very welcoming and great with the kids.
Really fast service, if you are after a traditional east end curry house, you can't really go wrong. Clean bathroom. Tarka Dhal is like home, the chilli sauce is bangin! Never actually had one like that with the cumin. Peshwari nan was different but very soft so enjoyed. Meat was tender, my friend who is not into chilli spice really enjoyed her meal. They put some naga pickle for me lol which was appreciated Small and busy so be carefully if you are of larger proportions
Best curry on brick lane always a good portion size , dooor man always got a good deal for you ! They will substitute paneer into any curry you want ! The karai so yummy and they usually have nice choccies they didn’t today but that’s fine they had lollies! Shout out shalamarFood: 5/5
I loved having dinner at Brick Lane Brasserie. The food was beautifully spicy, rich and so so delicious. Staff was exceptionally friendly, even though we had to make two changes to our original reservation. They replied quickly to my email telling me it was not a problem to change the time and when we arrived with one person less than originally planned, they were still welcoming us ever so warmly. Thank you!
Tldr, inauthentic flavours, false paid reviews, sky-high prices for what it is, not award winning at all. We booked here using The Fork and had a 40% discount, the bill for 2 came up to £42 after the discount. We had a ceylon lamb curry, madras chicken curry, palak paneer, naan, and pilau rice. The good thing was that service was good. Most of the reviews here mention that in exchange for a 5 star rating, you get a discount and or free drinks? I suppose this place is excellent with its marketing in this way... NOT award winning curry, everything was so catered to British taste buds it should be called a British curry house tbh. Palak paneer was terribly sweet which is a first. The chicken in the madras curry was all breast and thus very dry and limp, unfortunately. The ceylon held up well but as I said, does not reflect authentic flavours at all. It was all a mishmash or flavours, confusing. Naans were great! It was BOILING HOT in the restaurant despite it being a wintery night, both of us needed to get out for some air ASAP! It was a tight squeeze even just to get seated the next table had to be moved. The bill took awhile to arrive and did not expect to pay that amount after the discount, yikes! Can't imagine paying full price for this meal. Would not recommend coming here, go to another one on the same road, lots of other options that have better food, better price, and better atmosphere. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible, extremely tight spaces.
Great food ate far too much and still unfortunately had leftovers. Good price negotiated. Staff quickly found and fixed up an overcharge
