The staff are polite and extremely friendly in a genuine way. Food was made for us the way we wanted - spicier than normal. The tables were completely packed by the time we left. The presentation and the cleanliness of cutlery etc were really good. A must visit curry place for authentic South Asian food. They don’t serve desserts if you are looking for that sweet treat after your main meal. Mango lassi was delicious and will satisfy you . Will visit again.
Did some research and ended up reserving 4 spots at the Bengal Village. We did not do starters, just mains and sides. The vindaloo was nice and spicy, actually hot. The korma was a touch on the sweet side. Would recommend.Food: 5/5

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting this establishment, and I must say, it was deeply disappointing. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that cleanliness was not a priority for this place. The floors were visibly dirty, with grime and stains that looked like they had been there for quite some time. Dust and cobwebs were noticeable in the corners, and the surfaces appeared to have been neglected for weeks. The state of the restrooms was particularly appalling. The stalls were in disrepair, and there was a distinct and unpleasant odor. The sinks were filthy, and there was no soap or paper towels available, which raised serious concerns about hygiene and sanitation. The dining area was no better. Tables were sticky and hadn’t been properly wiped down. I noticed remnants of food from previous customers, and the overall ambiance was one of neglect and lack of care. It was hard to enjoy a meal in such an unsanitary environment. The staff seemed indifferent to the state of the place. While they were not outright rude, they certainly were not friendly or attentive. When I mentioned the condition of the facilities, my concerns were brushed off with a cursory, insincere apology, but no action was taken to address the issues. Overall, my experience at this place was extremely negative. The level of cleanliness was unacceptable, and it left me feeling uncomfortable and frustrated. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment. There are many other places that value cleanliness and customer satisfaction, and this is certainly not one of them. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from this place.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed by the experience. It quickly became apparent that the owner and staff lack any understanding of how to properly treat their customers. From the moment we walked in, there was a distinct sense that they were entirely unaware of how their behavior and attitudes negatively impacted their patrons. The first indication of their indifference came when we were seated without so much as a greeting or a smile. The staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to the needs of their guests. When we finally managed to catch someone's attention to place our order, the server appeared annoyed and rushed, making us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Throughout our meal, the service did not improve. Our requests were either ignored or met with curt responses, and at no point did anyone check in to see if we were satisfied or needed anything else. It was clear that customer service was not a priority for this establishment. The entire experience felt transactional, as if the only thing that mattered to them was getting our money. The lack of attention to customer satisfaction was glaringly evident and created an uncomfortable dining environment. It's disheartening to see a business so blatantly disregard the importance of making their customers feel valued and appreciated. In conclusion, if you are looking for a place where you are treated with respect and kindness, this is not the restaurant for you. The owner and staff's complete disregard for customer service is appalling. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place at all costs.
The food was very delicious. The chicken tikka biriyani was so excellent and the customer service was very good like five star Especially mr Zakir . And they also gave us some food on the house like momo and crackers that was also mouth watering. We will come here again to try the rest .Food: 5/5
We travelled a long way to try the curry in brick lane and found it was a total disappointment. We had the butter chicken which was way too sweet. The prawn spinach dish and vindaloo didn’t have much flavour, way too oily and over priced.Food: 1/5
Food was okay but to be fair what we got for £20/pp was insane Two alch drinks, a naan, rice, a main and a starter. On that basis I’d say this place is worth going to if you want a cheap and cheerful curry, the rice isn’t great, the naans were avg but certainly recommend the Gosht Kata MasalaFood: 3/5
