Bootham bar to Monk bar. Really liking the one way system in place along the walls. Beautiful views of York Minster. Lots of interesting fact & sights to discover. Walls are in different sections to walk along.
A great way to see and explore the city of York and to get a genuine feel for it. Lots of historic towers and good views. Plenty of steps, mind, if you have dodgy knees. Also, the access gets shut off in snowy, icy weather conditions.
A unique way to see York. Takes you away from the traffic noise for a while. A lovely experience.
High enough to see a different view
Super walk. Would love the trees blocking view of minster to have crown reduction and left pollarded a few metres lower than at present.
Got to love York, it's so full of our history and should be preserved.
Nice walk but a bit short. I only walked one segment though.
The best place for a walk. Loved the history
