St. Martin-Le-Grand Church

I can't really add anything to follow Joanne's review, endorse all that she says wholeheartedly.

A tranquil place in the heart of York.

What a delightfully peaceful church, with a splendid sculptural tableaux of the last supper on the reredos. I like and support the way it connects to Coventry cathedral's Community of the Cross of Nails with a focus on reconciliation. I felt that God was present in the building far more than in the Minster.

Great little wonky looking church, as a lover of religious places, but not necessarily religion. This place was quite special, don't forget to ring the peace bell...

Closed, unfortunately, so I contended myself with the outside.
