An object of wonderful obsession that gives a true sense of what it would have been like to live in affluent Victorian times. The decor, the hospitality and breakfast were phenomenal. I can't recommend it enough, even though it may not appeal to some.

I have just returned after a wonderful stay at St Benedict B &B. The victorian house is amazing, the entire interior exclusively Victorian. It offers a comfortable and homely environment, where you just feel relaxed and welcomed in an instance. Both Paul and Steven are delightful, their love and affection for the house is obvious and you can't help feeling it throughout the whole house. The bed was the best I've slept in for years. The breakfast was wonderful. I will be returning.

Perfect B&B, very friendly owners, excellent breakfast, guest rooms and other rooms in the house full , even more then full of collectibles. Location is very quiet, about 10 minutes walk to the first restaurants, 30 minutes walk to the old center of Hastings

A curious little B&B that is entirely decorated in what I'd guess is a mash of Victorian and Georgian style, with a lot of the furnishings probably being original. There is stuff sitting on every conceivable square inch of space - ornaments, paintings, curios etc. There is even an old organ in the first floor drawing room. The place is creaky and a little creepy, but you can lose ages just looking at the huge amount of stuff that's crammed in there. Not everything is old fashioned - they still have WiFi 😉. It's probably not suitable for more than a single nights stay, but it's lots of fun. The staff who run it are really friendly too.
