Truly outstanding accommodation and exceptional service We stayed for two nights at this cosy and beautifully decorated home. We were received by the host who is honestly one of the most welcoming, friendly, helpful, and thoughtful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The Cloudesley is clean and modern, yet warm and inviting. One noteworthy experience is the breakfast; the host offers his own recipes for the guests to enjoy, we particularly appreciated the bacon and fig omelette and homemade jams! The experience we had at the Cloudesley was truly faultless. Each and every review on here is well deserved. If it were possible, I'd give more than 5 stars.

Fabulous place. We stayed last weekend after a long cycle ride along the south coast to and from Rye. The owner is incredible friendly and helpful – he gave us some very useful recommendations including booking an excellent seafood restaurant for us (St Clements). The house itself was very comfortably (good beds) and we ate a wonderful breakfast outside on the patio. It is just a short walk in away from the Old Town and we were able to park right outside. Would definitely stay again.

The place is beautiful and the host is such a great guy... warm, funny and very welcoming and accommodating. The supporting service staff were great too. The breakfast was generous and delicious. I can't compliment enough.

Never have I felt so welcomed in any hotel or guest house! The quality of the rooms, service and breakfast was so unbelievably high, it was a real pleasure to stay here and I most certainly will be staying again.
