Absolutely wonderful place. Friendly staff, delicious food, fantastic service. We're staying at Haven holiday park and I would recommend that anyone looking for a good meal and lovely settings come here. Thank you to all the staff for making it a wonderful meal
The food wasn't great and we were just whisked away in less than an hour. The staff were very short in attitude and made us feel like an inconvenience due to asking what drinks they have as there was no drinks menu. The ham was inedible and incredibly tough couldn't bite through parts of it and the burger wasn't great. Also had to reserve a table but the place wasn't full and plates were almost taken away as we were still eating off them? Not impressed with the sticky tables and the staff, won't go here again due to an upsetting experience- had high hopes, too
We had amazing night. Service and food were amazing. The ambiance of pub was brilliant. Staff were so friendly. Especially, Mollie was amazing. She had very positive energy, very nice service during our dining time. She has been helpful. Thank you all :
Beautiful pub nestled in a cute dinky village next to a running stream. Amazing food with a good choice of vegetarian options too which is always a plus!Food: 5/5

Great evening tonight at the spring head - turned up without booking and they managed to seat us! Credit to the young girl who delivered our food and cleared our plates etc! She was lovely and polite and helpful! Sorry I didn’t get her name but we did leave a tip which unfortunately she had to share! She deserved to keep it!! We have eaten there on a Sunday for carvery and enjoyed our food also!
Very nice pub in picturesque village. Staff were very friendly. Good food and selection. Great selection of beers/drinks. Dog friendly. Fabulous surroundings. Would highly recommend.Food: 4/5
The food and atmosphere was really lovely but unfortunately, the service left a little to be desired. The staff came to remove the remnants of our starter before we'd actually received it so there was a wait whilst they found it. That's not so bad but I had to go to the bar twice to ask for coffee and when it arrived it was tepid. No milk alternatives were available either. All the taxi drivers we used raved about the place so maybe we just visited on a bad day but as I've said, the food was delicious. Kid-friendliness: Our little dog was made very welcome
Very welcoming, super service from all the staff and a fantastic Sunday carvery. All set in a beautiful location, vary tranquil and ideallic. We will definitely be returning here on our next visit.Food: 5/5
Ate there last week and very disappointing. Despite not being at all busy very unusual the staff were overly pushy for us to place our food and drink order, not really giving time to look at the menu! Not that there was much choice on the menu anyway! Asked what fish was "catch of the day" and what sides it came with and it seemed like a good choice but a couple of minutes later a different waitress said it was off! For pub food it was expensive and at best the quality could only be described as mediocre! This used to be a really great place to eat so what has happened? New owners? New chef? Haven't seen any indication of changes so what on earth is going on?
