Wasn’t the best of harvesters I’ve been to but it’s good that the self service salad is back.We got 4 refillable drinks but ended up with 4 small glasses which obviously we wasn’t impressed.We got the salad,it was decent but worse than expected.The bread rolls next to the salad bar were rubbish,they was stone cold and you couldn’t cut in to them,if you did then you’ll end up with broken bits of bread not sure if to call it bread on your plate.Then we got the food in pictures it was actually really good.But the only bad things were the glasses,bread rolls.Would recommend if you trying to find a restaurant on a night out.
Lovely restaurant with a scenic view. It's very specious, ideal for large groups. We had the starters and drinks, loved the Jalapeno Poppers in particular. Their service is also great and it's adequately priced.
Absolutely lovely place, wonderful views, the friendliest of staff and the food was amazing. Nice & clean throughout. Highly recommend
Walked along the beach from town & went there for lunch today. Food is lovely & plenty of it. Salad bar all fresh. Staff friendly & helpful. Pub very clean too Vegetarian options: Very good selection available
The location is beautiful, we sat in a "beach hut" outside overlooking the sea. Honestly it was very calm and relaxing. It's a shame the food let down the whole experience. You still can't help yourself to the salad bar, and I had to chase down someone to help despite it being really quiet. Our main meals came, the simply chicken was nothing special but just about edible. The simply salmon was awful, it didn't come with the parsley mash as stated, only dry microwaved mash. The veg was disgusting and the salmon itself was the most disgusting piece of salmon I've ever tried. The staff were very friendly and did refund my salmon dish. I would return and give this place another chance as the location is stunning.
The service was really fast and friendly. The menu was really varied. I chose the 2 course set menu and was very impressed with the selection, quality and portion size. Will definitely return
2nd time in the spyglass and was very happy with my meal, unfortunately my eyes were bigger than my stomach so could not eat it all...had the ultimate grill and I'm stuffed..staff very friendly. It did come with onion rings but ate them before picture ..Food: 4/5
Just had a fantastic meal here. Superb service. Plenty of room to move around, didn't feel hemmed in. Excellent quality.Food: 5/5
Fantastic place. Fast and friendly service. Staff were all brilliant, booking a table was a breeze especially when I said I would be there in a hour ,arrived 15 minutes early and wasn’t a problem. Shown to my table immediately. . Food was tasty. Great atmosphere. And the salad cart was fresh and looked great .have made 2 visits and will be visiting again in the future.recommend to all
Service was quite slow, the duty manager said that they were shoft staffed, though breakfast took an hour to arrive. The good was OK, though portions were fairly small and some items were cold. The duty manager did remove 20% from the bill due to the long wait times, which was appreciated.Food: 3/5
