Had a quick pint here whilst walking in and around Dorchester. Nice pub, good staff. Covid security measures in place. We sat outside as it was a cool but dry day.

Best carvery in the Dorchester area. Great selection of vegetables, crispy roast potatoes and tender meat. Staff are always very pleasant and service is quick. Would highly recommend.

Lovely food as always,  great service with friendly staff.

Excellent service and brilliant covid rules. Good food too even though we just had a much needed snack we've got their card with a view to returning at some time for a proper meal. Would certainly recommend

Arrived without a booking.  Found us a table and the service was excellent. I last visited 2years ago and the food was excellent and generous portions. I'd forgotten about the government eat out scheme which wiped a huge portion off the bill. I would have happily paid full price

The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was friendly and warm. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic English pub experience.

Party of four came for carvery. We were not disappointed! So much food that was fresh and piping hot except the stuffing but I will let that go and the tastes were to die for.  Good food, good beer, excellent staff. Very happy and will come back!

Always glad to have an excuse to eat here  as the food is always very good. Great carvery and amazing fish pie!
