I recently had a procedure at this hospital and I honestly cannot praise the care enough.nnFrom the moment I arrived on the day of my procedure, everything was so smooth and efficient. There was no waiting around or confusion I was taken straight to my private room, everything was explained clearly to me and I was made to feel comfortable immediately.nnEach nurse I met was incredibly kind, caring and supportive. I was absolutely terrified about having my procedure but the doctors and theatre staff were so patient and reassuring throughout. They genuinely helped me through one of the scariest experiences I’ve had.nnThe level of care I received was exceptional and I felt truly listened to, understood and cared for by everybody involved.nnA very special thank you to Dr D P Tokala for both his knowledge and his kindness. His professionalism and reassurance made such a difference to my experience.nnThank you again to all the staff involved in my care.
I’m just home from surgery at Spire Regency, Macclesfield. I had a breast augmentation performed by Mr J Kokan.nFrom consultation to surgery and discharge everything was perfect.nMr Kokan is kind, gentle, professional and clearly a master of his craft. He was very reassuring on the day and I had no doubts whatsoever.nThe staff are an absolute credit to Spire! Thank you to Sharon for arranging a specific date for my surgery, the welcoming ward clerks, and the nurses for looking after me so well Karen, Helen, Steph & special thanks to Nikki for helping me get through a particularly uncomfortable evening. The food was delicious shout out to the amazing kitchen team and the ward hostesses were extremely attentive.nThe theatre team were incredibly kind and reassuring prior to my anaesthetic and during recovery!nnMy room was incredibly comfortable with all necessary amenities.nI would have no hesitation in recommending/returning to Spire Regency.nThank you!
Had a total knee replacement NHS at The Spire Regency, Macclesfield. Staff were absolutely fantastic - very reassuring and caring. Only had a 5 month wait, which is excellent compared to NHS hospitals. The process from initial consultation, pre op, admission and discharge was excellent, with good communication throughout. Very impressed with their 'joint replacement school' which provides information on what to expect and answer any questions or concerns. The operation itself went well and aftercare excellent, with a follow up call the day after discharge to check progress. Follow up appontments already notified. Lastly, catering was fabulous. Certainly recommend choosing this hospital given the choice!
Attended 8/05/26, for a left ankle injection.nExcellent, efficient, streamlined treatment from the moment I walked in, smiling reception staff, extremely welcoming greeting from Coleridge Nurses relaxed admission details and very professional x-ray/ theatre team . I felt so safe and secure every step of the way. & A lovely cup of tea brought immediately afterwards.. with Jammy Dodgers..well done to everyone and the team in admin who rarely get thanks for the behind the scenes effort..a very well oiled machine and a happy relaxed atmosphere.nAnd professional, efficient high standards maintained at all times
I had a hip replacement here in October. From the start the nurses and surgeon Mr Muhammed Umar, was fantastic. I can't give them enough praise.nThey chatted, made me feel comfortable and i felt more of a friend with them, than a patient.nThe operation was good, i was awake through it and it was actually quite exciting.nI laughed and joked with the nurses after, and throughout my stay.nThe food was great, i polished it all off. The chef was really funny. He parked his trolley outside my room and i couldn't help giggle at his humour.nThis is the best hospital stay i think ive ever had. Maybe i should return for my holidays nOh, top tip for guys. Wear a loose dress after the hip operation. It was a deal sealer. Much more easier to use for the week or so after. Especially loo times.
