I was given a cancellation slot for spinal injection nerve ablation. Basically for chronic back pain the nerve bundle causing the pain from the spinal chord, a special needle is inserted with X- Ray guidance, the needle passes a current to stimulate the nerves to ensure the correct positioning, you can feel the nerves being stimulated and you can tell the surgeon so he knows when he had hit the spot, the needle is then heated up to a high temperature to ablate the pesky nerves. Local anaesthetic is also injected so it is not painful it is just uncomfortable for a short time. The hospital is quite new, it is lovely.very similar to The Nuffield. There are 2 theatres for eye surgery & pain clinic. It is only like an outpatients, patients walk in for treatment and go home when its all done. The staff were lovely and friendly. I recognised some staff from Leighton. It is so efficient. You get changed into a gown and put your own dressing gown on whilst you wait. I really enjoyed it. I can not fault it at all. Very modern with all of the up-to-date technology. I would not hesitate to go back if needs must. It is well signposted as you reach Northwich. Plenty of parking with disabled access and parking. Free parking with a blue badge. Excellent treatment an easy 5
Took my son into minor injuries following a bump to the back of the head. Worried I was being over cautious but really looked after. A very helpful, knowledgeable and professional Nurse Practitioner reassured me and thoroughly checked him over. I am sorry, I think her name was Nicki?nnJust very good overall interaction
Thank you to the lovely staff here, who patched up my elderly Mum after a fall, on 24 Dec 2025. Then we went back a few days later to have the wounds re-dressed. On both occasions there was only a short wait, and the staff were kind and efficient. As a result the whole family could relax and enjoy Christmas!!

Visited the Minor Injuries Unit to have my wrist checked following a fall. I was seen, X-rayed and treated very quickly & the staff were all very friendly. Vicky & Clare who treated me were great and managed to get my wedding ring off in one piece when I thought it may need to be cut off !! Excellent in every aspect.
