An excellent facility to get fast treatment if your situation is not urgent (ie not requiring accident and emergency). My 5 year old son had a small splinter in his hand that had got very sore and painful. We popped in, had our details recorded by the reception staff, and within 2 minutes of that, we had been seen. The whole event was over within 15 minutes. From the reception staff to the nurses, everyone was cheerful, helpful, kind and considerate. It was highly recommended by our doctor who didn't have an appointment available that day. The reception staff and nurses on duty were very friendly and chatted to my son whilst he was in the infirmary, and made him feel at ease. The procedure to remove the splinter was done with great care. For all non emergency incidents, I would highly recommend coming here. Especially if you have children, as it's a much more peaceful environment than a busy accident and emergency unit. But equally, adults can come here to get seen to quickly, and in a less stressful environment. Only thing to be aware of is parking for 20 minutes is free, but for 20 minutes to 4 hours is £3. So remember to bring £3 for pay and display.

A testament to the NHS. I've never been let down here. Great staff and well laid out. The only downside is the cost of parking.

The Victoria Minor Injuries Clinic is a tremendous asset to the area. Its existence alone would be good, but having friendly and efficient staff makes it invaluable.
