We are one of Leeds’s longest established restaurants, priding ourselves on serving delicious French dishes made from locally sourced ingredients since 1991. We specialise in quality wines and boast an extensive wine list to suit every taste.

Story

A very good menu and cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff and great service. I'll definitely be going back several times to experience the entirety of the menu as there isn't a single item on there that doesn't sound delicious.

Can't beat it for a quality "bar meal". I've never been into the main restaurant. Steak and chips is always good. The pigeon last week was excellent. Can get quite busy and if you're not wearing a suit you'll look out of place at lunchtime.

High quality food and a welcoming rustic style inside. Early evening menu is excellent value with 3 course and half bottle of wine for under £30. Pigeon is excellent, onion soup is hearty but delicious, fried brie is tasty but a bit too chunky (it is a block of fried cheese after all) and the confit duck is excellent. Worth it.

Good: fish soup, Ceasar's salad, Halibut. Not so good: the dry-aged beef filet was quite dry (no pun intended), not juicy at all, and looked like boiled meat. When we politely voiced this, the waiter explained as per the chef's definition that state to be due to the dry aging. I would have normally rated the restaurant a 4; -1 for the beef and for not taking the complaint seriously.
