Great for drinks. Food is average but probably wouldn’t return as there are better burger joints in the area. Presentation is reasonably average and for the price/in comparison to others in the area it just doesn’t go above and beyond. The decor is very cool but the burgers/sandwiches don’t match. We ordered the garlic mushroom roll and salt and pepper chips. Again reasonably tasty but pretty average looking and doesn’t warrant the price tag. Cocktails are very good tho. If you want a great burger in the area I’d recommend almost famous.
Nice little decent place in Leeds. Popped in after into Leeds for a work event. There is a few items on the menu, only chicken is halal in burgers. Other than that, plenty of beef options and starters available. Service is really good, staff were helpful.
The food did not deserve the price, i ordered a burger and monkey fingers. The burger was awful I couldn’t complete it there was something wrong in the meat. monkey fingers was okey it wasn’t delicious, the chips was very good and the sauce of the chips was great. The place was nice, we played on the table there and the atmosphere was very nice. However, some of the staff didn’t service is well, and some of them were good. Do I want to come back here ? , absolutely NO .
First visit and we will be back. The food was amazing order lots of different burgers, wings and shakes and the staff were really friendly. The atmosphere is also great - with a wide variety of music playing overhead.
Lunch deal is burger and side for 10.95. Which is good value. We maybe should have gone with a side of slaw instead of 2 sides of fries as the portion of fries were huge. Burger and fries very tasty. The drinks are quite pricy but overall it was very nice.
Myself and my partner travelled from Notts/Derby for a few days with intent on eating here as it looked super inviting. All expectations were met, I have a gluten intolerance and Meat Liquor were able to cater for my needs which was amazing. The food was to die for. We are going to plan a day trip very soon to come back here specifically. Thanks all, for the delightful service and scrumptious meal.
My goodness, honestly one of the best chicken burgers and fries I've ever had lol! Don't know what makes it different but I absolutely loved it, the massive slab of mozzarella helped of course. Will 100% be visiting Meat liquor the next we're in Leeds!
Great overall experience. Under ground resturant with plenty of seating area. Variety of food for meat lovers and vegetarians. Very delicious home made buffalo sauce, juicy chicken and to finish it with two soft burger bread.
This place is in the basement which is probably why there was a musky stale smell when we sat down to eat. Also the tip was automatically added to the bill and they then made it awkward to refuse it. The food was good though.
This place never fails to amaze me. The food arrived within 10 minutes of us sitting down but was still fresh and hot I burned my mouth. The staff were engaging and friendly. I can not explain how incredible the food is here. The vibes in the basement "dive bar-esque" environment are relaxed and comfortable. I would recommend anyone who likes a good fried chicken burger comes here without fail.
