I've always wanted to come here and finally did. We didn't have a table booked and hoped they could accommodate us. Friendly front of house, no hesitation, yes we have a table for 90 mins. Perfect. The waiting staff were friendly, knowledgeable helped us choose a beautiful white wine, service was quick and we weren't disturbed by the constant, is everything alright, do you need, etc that you sometimes get. We also weren't rushed out of the door and I'm sure we stayed longer than the 90 mins. The atmosphere and decor was lovely and although it was busy, we were still able to talk without shouting. Definitely worth a visit here.
Unfortunately the reviews didn't live up to it. Our starters arrived Spicy Mozzarella zucchini was tasty but the calamari was under cooked. We ordered seafood risotto and it was sent back twice. I appreciate fish is salty but way to much salt. The waiter Dom was very apologetic and offered something else but we declined.Food: 2/5
Fab meal at Gusto! Daisy was an absolute star, helping with my gluten allergy and checking on our food. We had a lovely time. Dietary restrictions: Really clear advice on what was or wasn’t gluten free. Had a lovely steak and didn’t feel like I missed out at all!
Had a delicious fillet steak. Really enjoyable. The steak was cooked perfectly, it was a nice cut of meat, and the accompaniments were superb. Lovely apple sauce, truffle potatoes, peppercorn sauce. The staff were really friendly and accommodating too.
We visited this venue on New Years Eve, and the food was excellent. The service was promt, however due to the time of year we where only allocated a specific time slot, which didn't allow us to sit and relax as much as we'd of liked.Food: 4/5
Had a very nice experience in this restaurant would definitely return. The food was well presented and the taste was of a good standard. But for me the service really stood out as excellent. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much for her, even when we were taking our time to order. Prompt service but not overbearing and not trying to rush us out. Would recommend a visit.
We were served by Daisy and she was amazing. She offered us the best advice for food and always giving recommendations for cocktails. When she approached our table she always had a smile on her face and constantly made the table laugh. She made our dining experience that much better. Thank you!Food: 4/5
Had a lovely dinner out with the girls and the atmosphere of the restaurant really delivered on the vibe we were looking for. All of us loved our food and drinks. And was a brilliant place to go with friends, family or a date night! Vegetarian options: Great vegan and vegetarian options on the menu.
A disappointing meal. Unfortunately, we were let down by a few dishes in our party, my pizza was OK. However, it was a little undercooked. The main problems were the calamari that was undercooked and overly floury, but the mozzarella arancini was nice. The biggest letdown was the seafood risotto, which another person in our group had it was very salty, he sent it back, and it wasn't any better. The service was good, though, and the waiter took the risotto off the bill and made sure we were happy despite the problems. Overall, it was a disappointing meal for an Italian restaurant.
