I never normally bother with reviews unless they are positive or very negative. Have to say I'm appalled at the quality of food in this restaurant. I ordered salmon spaghetti and there was literally no salmon in my meal just a few tiny loose flakes. What an embarrassment to even send such meal to a customer. I strongly recommend you to avoid at all costs. The girl serving us was lovely and pleasant but the management definitely needs to change. Dont waste your money and ruin your evening.

We went for a special birthday and the experience from walking through the door until we left was amazing.. the food was excellent and the service was brilliant.. the restaurant gas an amazing feel and look.. a really great night out

It was the second time I had visited the restaurant within a year with the office. The staff were very nice, although the member who took our order was supposed to come back with an order for snacks but never did. We shrugged it off that we shouldn't order extra anyway. I ordered Carbonara, I was disappointed that it did taste a little on the bland side and the bacon tasted overcooked. My colleagues said that their meals were very nice however so I can't discredit based on just my experience. Next time I go I shall be getting the pizza.

Decent food and service. The iced olives I chose for a starter were delicious, but I think charging £5 for about 10 good olives is extortion. Main course was OK - I chose Carbonara - again, charging £13 for a basic pasta dish is outlandish. I've had superior Italian food, at cheaper prices, in independent restaurants. The ale was ridiculously expensive too. Moreover, in a typical restaurant, the decor usually compliments the atmosphere the owners are looking to achieve. Here, there is so much merchandise for sale it felt like the restaurant is a vehicle for Jamie to make even more money from his cook books. In summary, Jamie's is an OK place to eat. It certainly isn't bad, but I don't think I'll ever go back again unless it was to attend a birthday party or another function.

Always great food. Seats are a bit hard but this is due to the rustic feel. Drink is expensive. Staff always friendly and attentive.
