Went there Easter Saturday with family. Had cocktails on arrival which were very nice. Each of us had a starter and main course. The food was excellent and the waitress was very efficient and friendly. Can't wait to go again and try other dishes on the menu. 😁

Backhouse was incredible. Staff were very attentive and provided some fantastic recommendations on cuts of meat. I would highly recommend this restaurant the Australia fillet was to die for. Have already booked in for my next visit.

Went as part of the January 50% off deal. Very busy because of the fab offer and therefore not much room in the bar area to wait. Although we were early they were behind by half an hour seating people, which after speaking to friends who visited throughout Jan was a running theme. The waiting staff did their best to give you time and attention but always explained things clearly and didn't seem too rushed. Ordered the tomahawk steak between the two of us but disappointed you only get one portion of chips - as they are very very tasty! Accompanying sauces were really good. Would visit again but not for quite a while, and hopefully at a less busy time.

Me and my partner went here on the 24th of February, my partner rang for a table and they gave us 9.30pm, when we arrive the waitress who dealt with us said she couldn’t find our surname on the booking list and made out we never called to book a table. She said that they would fit us in. When we went to the bar we stood there for half an hour to get serve for even a drink, what a disappointment, finally after getting the drink and sitting down the waitress came to get us and just plonked us down at the table and walked off. After ordering the food, we got asked if we wanted any drink and we asked for 2 cocktails but they never came. The starter was amazing but the main course of the salmon was disgusting, dry and no taste what so ever, felt like we were getting rushed with our food. Waiter kept annoying us as he kept coming up to the table and making stupid jokes. After that got the bill and it came to £80 pound. ABSOLUTE JOKE, the food was disgusting, the customer service skills was a joke, kids could have run this better and for the price I won’t recommend people who love fish don’t go because it is a very let down. Only best thing that made my night there was the man singer on the piano. If I went to something like this again I would get up and walk out as it was a joke from stepping in to the restaurant.
