The receptionist are exceptional now - I’ve seen two men working here and both are very polite and helpful. Not sure of names which is a shame - the younger man is very competent and professional. I always feel better queueing up in front of this surgery as opposed to the other two who seem a bit hostile Overall surgery is improving which is good
The main doctors are great. But the receptionists are terrible apart from the men receptionists . The women receptionist is very rude not helpful you would think she is the doctor saying your child don’t need see doctor you can get over counter medication. Your waiting half an hour to book appointment then when your number 1 they cut the phone I been with Somerset for 15years and gone worst and the temp doctor don’t know what they talking about unprofessional. The 2 main doctors are great Dr H murtaza & Dr G murtaza. I think they really need to change the receptionist to make the place better
Very poor service, even with an appointment expect to be waiting 1h to 2h. Disrespectful toward patients. Doctors overwhelming you by talking to loud, not listening, rushing through the appointment. Not recommended as GP practice.
I have to give 1 star just to post a review, else I wouldn’t have!!! I have known this surgery since I was a baby but after Covid these people have lost it! By far the worst surgery in all aspects. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else but not here!
Can not recommend this GP worse service ever recently my child was sick and called for appointments and lady on call was so rude and telling me call 111 without listening what I was trying to explain. 0 star from me
I have been with them for more than 20 years but of late since they moved from southall the receptionist are very rude on phone and don't want to listen to the patients. You try to explain your problem and they don't even want to listen.
Only take appointments on the day and if you missed the 8:30am call they will not make an appointment for next days. This is ridiculous, worst gp clinic. AVOID
I have registered with them back in August but have not received any kind of correspondence from them so I contacted them via phone on September 3 and asked if my online registration went through and if there were any additional documents needed. I, then, was told to email them a copy of my passport as a proof of ID and a form of proof of address. I have sent the required documents on the very same day to the provided email address but have not received any response back. I have never received any post from them, nor could they give me further information when phoned them. Now, I am nearly 9 months pregnant and have been told by my hospital that they have received a note from Somerset Medical Centre that I am no longer registered with them. Which is weird considering noone has ever told me anything about the process or if I have ever been registered properly? I have contacted them just now and got told by a very brief man that "It has nothing to do with me, you need to call NHS" When I pointed out I meant it has actually a LOT to do with Somerset Medical Centre and asked him to confirm whether I was phoning the right place - he said "probably you didn't come to your appointment or didn't respond to some letter" Me? I'm sorry but I have been trying my absolute best at being patient with what kind of people they are employ at their reception and what kind of service they provide to people but now the glass has tipped over. It is an absolute mess what has been going on over there, and since we all know very well NHS is well-known for caring with dignity and respect. I received neither of those and were just annoyed with my queries rather than trying to help me. I am glad I am not registered with this place, and I would suggest you to find someone else if you can! Horrible service, shame on you all for being so careless and short. You are working in Healthcare! You should know better!
Worst GP very unprofessional staff. If there was 0 or less star I will give them that star. Thank you for your worst service.
Worst GP ever. Poor service from doctors, they have no clue what they are doing, not sure how they are certified doctors and don't actually help which defeats the purpose. I called because i was experiencing pain and i was asked by the doctor what do you expect me to do. I mean you can at least prescribe something for the pain at least but that was not done. I'm still in pain, prescription less and no wiser as to why i have pain. if your hoping for a GP that figures out what is wrong with you thats too much to ask from this GP so better not to bother find some where else as you'll die not knowing plus you'd thoroughly be wasting your time.
