We visited the store today at 7:30pm and asked them are they closing said at 8pm and they were so upset seeing us . my daughter was excited for her present and she found soon but when we went to pay at counter there was an unhappy girl who did not attend properly first she didnt response talking with other girl then i said two times to take money from me and let us go then she took money but did not say thanks . it was very bad customer service never experienced before at any of smiggle store.
The Store is too small for the amount of products stacked up, prices are quite high and not clear as a very small print on the labels not many options to choose from either! You might be better ordering online as you might get a reasonable offer unlike the store ones
i went to the lakeside branch the staff was extremely rude & racist i am from middle east i bought a bottle and when my sister saw she liked it and we went again my sister was wearing hijaab she bought the bottle for her son and the team member asked me to show me raciept for the bottle i bought an hour ago and i did she said ok u can go like what the hell i can buy 1000 bottles at once and you’re blaming me for an £8 bottle this kind of behaviour is unacceptable and extremely racist i would suggest smiggle please the staff needs learn how to treat customers no matters where they from and how they look you dont know about anyone before putting blams ! very disappointed
I came here just before Christmas. I needed to do an exchange on a faulty item from another Smiggle store and the staff were so sweet and friendly. Then my daughter lost her Smiggle backpack in another store so a member of the public handed it in here and we were able to recover it with all of her shopping inside. I was very grateful that the staff members held on to the backpack and remembered us from earlier. We got so many great bargains with the in-store discounts as well. 10/10 shopping experience.
Lots for both boys and girls but the prices are really high if you have more than one child..sale prices are a little better but i think it's the novelty of their items that kids want..do have a reward scheme.
It is ok and children gets really happy there. However, everything is smelly plastic... considering the human pollution already done to this world, not impressed. I bought items for my youngest at her request: 6 months later it still stinks of chemicals. The pencil cases are not sturdy at all.
Absolutely disgusted in the level of service I have just recieved at this store. Mary Showunmi scanned an £18 lunchbox just before serving me, I thought she was serving another customer although I was next in line. I was then called over, my items were scanned. When I checked my receipt I was charged for the lunch box I hadn’t selected when I questioned her, she just looked at me and said come back later for a refund the manager is on his break! No apology, no helpful or friendliness. Appalling behaviour. I asked her to get the manager now as I’m not leaving to then come back for a refund for an item I haven’t purchased. We waited 15 mins to then see the manager appear in a grey scruff hoody with zero manners or customer service skills! I am led to believe that the lunchbox was scanned for me to pay for for them later to action a refund and pocket the money! Unbelievable service! My 4 year old has more manners than both of them put together!
My children love Smiggle. The products are lovely and are a good quality. My gripe is that although there are usually special offers they are still quite expensive on the whole.
Lots of lovely school requirements. My wee grandchildren loved the choices.
Daughter loves it product great but so exspensive £45 for a school bag
