Very awesome overview from 160m above London. Make sure to book tickets 3 weeks in advance or take the early bird ticket before 10 a.m. You can really see a lot from up there if the weather is good. Cloudy and rainy days really make it difficult to see buildings and sights in the far distance. Definitely worth a visit
Make sure u booked in advance.... I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sky Garden in London, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Tucked away amidst the skyscrapers of the city, Sky Garden offers a truly breathtaking escape from the hustle and bustle below. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted warmly by the staff, and the journey to the top is seamless thanks to efficient elevators. But the real magic begins when you step out and are greeted by panoramic views of London's skyline. Whether you visit during the day or at night when the city lights up, the views are simply mesmerizing. The design of Sky Garden itself is equally impressive. Lush greenery surrounds you as you explore the landscaped gardens, creating a peaceful atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with the urban setting. There are numerous seating areas where you can relax and take in the scenery, making it a perfect spot for both tourists and locals alike. Make sure to check out the restaurants and bars located within Sky Garden. They offer a variety of delicious food and drinks, all while you continue to enjoy the stunning views. Overall, Sky Garden is a must-visit in London. Whether you're looking to unwind amidst nature, capture stunning photos of the cityscape, or simply enjoy a unique experience, Sky Garden offers it all. It's a hidden oasis that's definitely worth exploring during your time in London.
The Sky Garden in London is a must visit. It offers free admission and spectacular 360-degree views of the city. It features landscaped gardens, observation decks, and an outdoor terrace that is open depending on the weather. All you need to do is book a slot on their website prior to visiting.
This is an incredible experience and highly recommended. It’s best to book a ticket in advance but they do let in walk-ins, you just need to stand in the queue longer. The lift takes you to the 35th floor, and the view it just phenomenal. It is a really pretty cafe up there, there is a lot of seating but it is super busy so be prepared to wait a little for service. It also takes a while to get down again so favor this in for time planning. Well worth the trip up to the top.
A must when you are visiting or live in London. The cocktails where amazing, the food delicious and the service was spectacular. Seamless experience through security and fast journey on the lifts. Live music, festive spirit and the best 360° view of London.
Sky garden gives you fabulous views over the city and a wonderful indoor garden feel. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the views, as well as a cafe/bar. If you haven't pre reserved tickets, prepare to be disappointed. It was very busy today 27.07.24. The queue for security and the lifts were lengthy. But tickets are Free....so it's a wonderful afternoon out.
Tickets are released 3 weeks prior. I strongly urge you to get your free tickets as soon as they are released on Mondays. The tickets run out very fast, you have about a day or two at the most to secure your reservation. The view is gorgeous from the Sky Garden. You can get stunning views of River Thames, Tower Bridge, Tower of London and The Shard. There is also plenty of seating and even couches for you to rest your feet you can use these until they are reserved, then you will be asked to sit somewhere else. At night the balcony is closed so you can only see the view from inside the garden. I came here twice, to see London in daylight as well as at night. I'm happy I did both.
Visiting Sky Garden in London was an absolutely breathtaking experience. Upon entering, you're greeted by a lush oasis of greenery, a stark contrast to the bustling city below. One of the highlights of Sky Garden is the opportunity to dine at a restaurant, indulge in a refreshing drink, or simply unwind on the comfortable chairs available on the 35th floor. Whether you're looking for a gastronomic adventure or simply want to soak in the awe-inspiring view, there's something for everyone here. What's even better is that admission to Sky Garden is free, making it accessible to all. However, securing tickets in advance is essential as they tend to sell out quickly. Trust me, the effort is well worth it. I found Sky Garden to be a family-friendly destination, suitable for visitors of all ages. Children will marvel at the panoramic vistas while adults can appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. If the weather permits, don't miss the chance to step outside onto the terrace. The unobstructed views from this vantage point are truly mesmerizing, adding an extra layer of magic to an already unforgettable experience. In conclusion, a visit to Sky Garden is a must for anyone exploring London. Whether you're a tourist or a local, this oasis in the sky promises an unforgettable journey above the clouds.
We visited sky garden in the Morning..Good spot for city views. You can see the major icons like River Thames, London Bridge,Shard Tower Bridge, Tower of London etc. We booked ticket 1 month ago so at that time only registration required in free... Plenty of space to sit. Reason for not the best spot for photo zealots due to glass and reflections- more for seeing the city with your own eyes!
Booked tickets weeks in advance. Lined up for security bag-check. Fast elevator to top. Crowds of people already at the top. Disappointed with small outside viewing area...only on one side of building. Nice views from the other sides but through glass and no walkout. Lots of plants but not much color or WOW factor. A handful of bars and food places and plenty of places to sit. Very casual atmosphere. Lots of screaming babies in strollers. LONG lineup for women's toilets.
