London Bridge is a historic gem that combines rich history with modern vibrancy. Walking across the bridge offers fantastic views of the Thames and iconic landmarks like Tower Bridge and The Shard. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of cafes, shops, and street performers adding to the bustling atmosphere. It's a must-visit spot that beautifully encapsulates the spirit of London.
It's one of my dream that someday i will see London bridge in person. It was because of famous nursery song. "London bride is falling down"... . Finally time has come. London Bridge is a must to see if you are in London. Walking near the bridge is an awesome experienced!! Nothing much to see but it is very nice to have a walk near bridge go to the top and just enjoy the view.
Bit underwhelming to be honest, great to see it as it is a relatively well known landmark and nursery rhyme around the world! but the tower bridge is definitely more impressive and what it seems half these reviews seem to be referring to. Water around it is also quite green and polluted.
The London Bridge is a must-see attraction for any visitor to London. It's a beautiful and historic bridge with stunning views of the city. However, it can be very crowded, especially during peak tourist season. Pros: Stunning views:The bridge offers panoramic views of the River Thames and the London skyline. Historic significance: The bridge has a long and fascinating history, dating back to the Roman era. Accessibility: The bridge is easily accessible by foot, bus, and tube. Nearby attractions: The bridge is located near many other popular tourist attractions, such as the Tower of London and the London Eye. Cons: Crowded: The bridge can be very crowded, especially during peak tourist season. Traffic:The bridge can be noisy and congested with traffic. Limited seating: There are limited places to sit and relax on the bridge. Noisy: The bridge can be noisy, especially with the traffic and crowds. Tips: * Visit the bridge during off-peak hours to avoid the crowds. * Take a walk across the bridge and enjoy the views. * Visit the nearby attractions, such as the Tower of London and the London Eye. * Be aware of the traffic and noise levels.
So London bridge is a historic bridge to visit. From there you have a view of the Tower bridge the pictures are taken from London bridge but are off Tower bridge. Most people like me aim to go to the tower bridge but think it's the same as the London bridge and end up on London bridge instead of Tower bridge. They are one stop from each other using the tube but you can also walk there in about 12 minutes. Most pictures of the London bridge I see here are actually of the Tower bridge and not London bridge. London bridge is a pretty ordinary bridge only that it was a medieval bridge since Roman times. Not as worth a tourist visit but Tower Bridge is definitely worth a tourist visit.
One of historical bridges in London. Crowded with a number of people walking through this bridge toward the Southbank area. Lovely place to visit
As a first time visitor from India. I was thrilled to finally set eyes on Iconic London Bridge. The bridge over The Thames where small boats Criss cross is just a lovely. The day was Sunny and bright and occasional cloud was making it a play of light. A must visit when you are in UK!
We didn't have time to go on the tour. however we walked over it and also took a your bus too. Totally mind blowing
The London Bridge is part of London's busiest and most visited areas. Is a wonderful place for a side trip with the family, with friends or even alone. It has a very beautiful view from afar.
