The Millennium Bridge, an iconic pedestrian suspension bridge in London, offers a captivating blend of modern engineering and aesthetic design. Spanning the Thames between St. Paul's Cathedral and Tate Modern, it provides stunning panoramic views of the city's skyline. The sleek, minimalist structure, often dubbed the "Wobbly Bridge" due to its initial stability issues, now stands firm and elegant after structural adjustments. It's a popular spot for both tourists and locals, seamlessly connecting two cultural landmarks while providing a serene, scenic passage over the river.
It's a pedestrian bridge with a lovely vibe. It connects Globe theatre and St Paul's Cathedral and is across the Thames River. It's a lovely walk across, great to spend time on and take on the atmosphere, listening to singers on the river bank, usually excellent talent. Food available from th carts are tasty. A great place to see the sunset from. I loved it.
Very unique bridge known also to Harry Potter fans, as the movie Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince opens with a dramatic sequence of the Millennium Bridge collapsing. Luckily, during our visit the bridge did not collapse. : Also, the bridge has a nice view to St. Paul's cathedral.
Amazing London skyline from the bridge, Tate Modern on one side and St Paul Cathedral on another. Bubble gum art on the bridge is a real treat, if you can find them.
The Millennium Bridge connects St Paul's Cathedral with The Tate Modern, and is one of London's newest river crossings. The Millennium Bridge offers panoramic views of London's skyline, providing a unique vantage point for iconic landmarks such as the Tower Bridge and the Shard. The walk across the bridge is a delightful experience, offering a blend of architectural appreciation and scenic beauty.
Very cool all metal bridge. If you go during the weekday, I recommend skipping lunch time as that’s when the bridge is being used the most with students and professionals.
Great views of the river and the city skyline for taking photos. Just a short walk in either direction to get to St Pauls Cathedral or the Tate Modern
The Millennium Bridge is a small little bridge that gets you almost straight to St. Paul’s Cathedral. You can enjoy a great view along the river and I personally recommend to go there in the evening or at night. Keep in mind that the bridge is not as static as other bridges. You may feel a tiny little movement. If that’s not for you, just take another bridge to the other side of the river
Great views, recommended at night. It connects The Globe and Tate modern to St Paul.
The view from the Millenium bridge is awesome. We can see Canary Wharf, the city buildings, St Paul’s, Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Tate Modern, Globe and many more. So nice to see the boats going by from the bridge. The smell of caramelised peanuts is so comforting as we come down from the bridge. One of the best photo shooting spots!
