Extremely disappointed to turn up find out that I couldn't play tennis because there weren't enough staff members to set the courts up. Especially after being told I had to pre-book the courts, despite calling all morning before I came (after the opening hours on the website) and the phones not being switched on.

The person who addressed me at reception told me the staff wouldn't be able to set the court up for over an hour with the staff they had, then went back to the office sitting, looking at a word document for as long as I stayed to look. 

As I had to catch a train shortly after playing this meant I wasted a trip there and wasn't able to play.

I suggest mentioning on the website that the courts need pre-booking so avoid this happening in the future.

A bit old, only two showers in changing rooms, nice squash courts.

Decent facilities,  nice bar which is reasonably priced.   Car park is large.   Does seem to have issues with bike theft though outside,  so security could be improved.   Staff always friendly and helpful.
