Nice and friendly gym. Usually getting very busy after 5pm on the weekdays, but kinda less crowded on the weekend’s afternoons Most of the machines were replaced by new ones somewhere in July/August and they added couple of new ones It’s clean and people are really nice to each others. There are different classes for everyone, pilates are really good.
This is a really good gym. It is clean, the equipment is really decent and there is a lot of space to train even when it's peak hour. I love the fact that there are plenty of females training here, not just on cardio, but strength training too. It is really inspiring to see, as other gyms I tried tend to be very male dominated.nnI train here twice a week with PT Martyna, and she is really amazing, super knowledgeable and she doesn't let me slack on my sets, which I really appreciate
Spacious gym, good monthly prices, friendly staff, open 24/7, lots of parking spaces. I would recommend it.
I have been going to this gym for the last 4+ years as a Corporate Member Paying the highest amount per month Membership.nnLove the Space and how its designed and some of the equipment and facilities like Massage Machines make this gym unique and one of the only Puregyms with amazing Natural light because it has so many windows. But thats where the good ends and majority bad begins.nnListed Below are the issuesnn1- Recently The gym updated all its cardio machines Treadmill,cycles,elliptical machines. With an update you would expect newer more modern equipment. NOO. All the above mentioned equipment were previously with Digital Displays. Now the new ones are all manula old school machines with the basic options like setting speed by either pressing the buttons or a controller on the handle infront which takes ages to get up to the right speed and the actual speed up process is so lagging and slow. I do HIT sessions where I walk for 1 minute and the a burst to 13.5 or 14k speed. Previously you could do that thanks to the digital screen where ur current speed and previous speeds were at press of a button. In the new machines thats not there. The worst part is all the previous equipment that had digital displays and were working perfectly fine, have been replaced with these old school equipment.n2- The showers space have never had all 6 showere spaces working for 1 week in a row. Everytime either one two or even for a week 4 showers were out of order. It has been over a year since they made changes to the shower space but they have not been able to get this shower issue sorted.n3- Adding non used equipment vs what actually is needed. So they keep on adding equipment that is vaccant most of the time like various machines for abs, legs, rowing machines which you can see even at rush hours are never all under use. In contrast if you see machines like the 45' calf press, smith machine, Benches that can go one step below normal so that you can do decline press, are lacking.n4- During Rush hour its like you are in a bazaar of turkey. Filled with people and unlike anything I have seen anywhere in any gym. Thats probably why most machines have issues because to be honest you have more people in, than the actual used machine capacity.n5- Most of the staff are really unhelpful where I have on several ocassions asked for some help on issues either in the locker room on a separate not the lockers are horrible. damaged and most of the locking systems dont work normally and you need to slam the doors or wiggle them to actually be able to lock them and the staff said with a face that I am with a client, instead of saying sorry I am with a client right now but let me connect with one of my colleagues who can help you. I would say most of the staff are really in their own circle of members and everyone else to be honest doest exist, atleast thats how I have felt over the period.nI have given such a detail description so that members thinking to join know this particular brach's goods and bads. I never thought I would have to change gyms, but over the years with the standards going down and the gym attracting so much crowd that working out honestly becomes a nightmare, I feel Puregym has lost its charm and not something worth the money you end up paying.
I like PureGym, plenty parking, although it can get busy. Good size gym with plenty of equipment, changing rooms and showers.nVery clean and lots of natural lights.nLockers to put your stuff away.nnAlways see 'staff' there.
