Went for a spa day for valentine’s day. 

I’ll start with the positives! The chocolate massage was lovely, me and my partner got to be in a double room and the therapists really knew what they were doing! The pool was lovely and we got to enjoy the saunas and steam room too! Afternoon tea was also lovely, really good selection of cakes and sandwiches! The staff were all very friendly and willing to help with anything they could! Very reasonably priced as well! 

There were only a couple of downfalls...
When I booked it online I then rang to add on afternoon tea and two facials. On the phone I was told I could book them on the day, I did say I’d rather book them over the phone to ensure we were able to get them as I know valentine’s can be a very busy day but the lady was adamant I book them on the day. When we got there I was unable to book the facials because they were fully booked so didn’t get to have them.
The massage I paid for was a Swedish chocolate back and shoulder massage followed by a scalp massage. Unfortunately the scalp massage wasn’t done so was a bit of a let down as we didn’t get the full treatment. 
The steam room was the only disappointing bit as a lot of the tiles were missing on the seats and I ended up cutting my leg where I had caught it on a missing tile. 

I’m not one to moan or complain and the day was a great day, we both had a very relaxing valentine’s day but felt it could have been a bit better.

Fantastic experience with this new gym in milton Keynes. SPA experience is perfect, following with warm water pool for swimming. Decent size gym floor. Plus, there are small cafe area, serving healthy fruit shake and protein drunks

Ok commercial gym. Clean. Only 1 squat rack. Bad quality barbells. Decent swimming pool

I have been a member of this gym for since November 2017. There a massive issues with this gym that I feel as a member, prospective members need to know about.

The first main issue is the parking. If you come during working hours 9-5 there is simply non available and you have to spend 25-30 mins minimum driving around for parking for the 50p an hour section or park on the red section straight away which costs £2.00 an hour . Which works out around (£80 extra a month if you go for 2 hours a day x 5days)

The main and biggest issue for me is use or lack of use of the spa. There is simply never enough space for members as it is always full of spa paying members. Now this is not the day spa customers fault as they are paying customers, but the fault of bannatyne for not upgrading the services and using gym facilities for both day spa customers and gym members . In the last 2 months I have used the jacuzzi less than 5 times due to too many spa members, and only used the swimming pool a handful of times. This has hampered my fitness goals.

I would advise NOT joining this gym and go elsewhere as you will get a far better experience

REALLY run down, depressing, broken windows, dirty space. Staff are nice but honestly just no. Crazy expensive for what it is. Bannatyne sort it out!
