Shaldon Wildlife Trust is truly unique. A charity dedicated to the conservation of smaller endangered species.

Story

Shaldon Zoo is set in a woodland garden above the attractive coastal village of Shaldon. See our marmosets and tamarins from South America, lemurs from Madagascar, yellow-breasted capuchins and squirrel monkeys. Plus more unusual species such as cusimanses, tree shrews, Madagascan giant jumping rats, red titi monkeys and long-nosed potoroos. The list goes on..... We are open every day except Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Gift Aid prices : Adults £7.50, Children (3yrs +) £4.95, Concessions £5.95, Family (2 adults/2 children) £21

Lovely little zoo. Lots of monkey's all have nice big enclosures. Worth a visit.

Fantastic small zoo with great conversation programme. Active in captive breeding of endangered species. The zoo is small, and so are all the animals! Lots you will not see in big zoos. Offer keeper for the day and other animal experiences. Since we first discovered them, we go back there every time we are in Devon

Lovely cute little zoo. The monkeys were hilarious in the little round windows. Can’t wait to go again.

Beautiful place! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We even had our own little adventure when a fruit beetle tried to make it's great escape! Lovely little shop. I did struggle with our buggy on the steps with pebbles but was easily solved with help from my hubby. Just annoyed that I forgot to take photos!

Nice place place to spend the day with the family. They is also very nice pub looking over the beach which does good food.
