We visited here as a day out whilst staying in Devon Cliffs. Booked in advance, entry was quick and easy into the venue upon arrival. We had a fantastic day, a nice easy location if you're staying on the site nearby, lots of free parking. Loads of different things happening and they all seemed to happen in the morning and again in the afternoon so you didn't miss anything. Inside part of the museum was rather dated, but for me that made it even more interesting. Loved looking round the old machines and the cars. Great selection of play areas for the little ones too! Awesome collection of animals and very knowledgeable and helpful staff. We also did the deer train which was not something I'd ever experienced, I was concerned the deer might get run over but they seemed to have trained themselves to run alongside safely then enjoyed the food when the tractor stopped! I 100% recommend. A great day out!
Was greeted warmly today visiting for the first time by Karenh, 1 adult £15.99. Wow this is well worth the price. The animals here are well looked after and healthy. There are so many, as it was such a lovely day most were out enjoying the sunshine with their babies. Friendly approachable and have their names. Loved every minute here. There is so much to see from old last century automobiles, type writers and farm equipment to something for the little ones with a big play area.
We planned to spend only a couple of hours here, but ended up staying for more than double that time. There was a nice variety of museum-like displays, playgrounds and soft play areas for the kids and hands-on animal-feeding activities. The ferret race was a bit quirky, but a good laugh. The commentator did a great job of making it a lively affair.
1st time visiting and it was lovely. So much to do and see well worth the entry price. The tractor ride and feeding the deers was really nice to be up close to these animals. So much to do for kids big and small. The food bar was great and cheap for a place like this well worth the money but the chips could have done with a few extra minutes can't wait to go back and have another go.
Been coming here for about 16 years now and now I'm bringing my own little girl. Beautifully clean, good price for entrance, giftshop and food. Lovely friendly staff too. The animal are adorable and the indoor play zones are a great touch.Visited onWeekdayWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedYes
Thanks for a really good day today. We did everything and fully enjoyed it. Everyone was very friendly. My daughter loved all the animals and rides. Myself I loved looking at all the old cars but the digger was the winner for me even had to kick the daughter off so I could have a go or 2 . Keep up the good work everyone. Thank you for a full day of fun
Plenty to keep children occupied and to learn and view the animals The deer train gives a great experience of feeling the animals and lovely views as well good value for 2 pounds each. There is plenty of outdoor activities and space for people to enjoy There is a good selection of food available and polite and friendly staff all food is served in takeaway cartons and cups so can be eaten outside the barn if you want to A good day out was had by all Booking on line preferred And to arrive as early as possible To give time to enjoy what is on offer that day
My husband and I visited this place today and we really enjoyed ourselves. While on holiday in Lymstone which is in Dorset in the UK, I picked up a leaflet for this place, and after reading it decided to visit. Thinking that it would be a quick visit because I thought it'd be just for kids, was I wrong, we arrived at about 10:30am and stayed the whole day I was very impressed with this place. Not only is this place great for families with children but it also has a wide range of different things to interest adults such as the 'walk through time ' music and trends through history I would definitely recommend this place for a great day out.
Great for a day out with kids of all ages. There are loads of activities and it is a large site so not too busy or long queues. Advice: bring one pound coins which are needed on a few entertainments. The food options were reasonable.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
