Just returned from a visit to the savoy and can't praise the place enough, I used to be a regular many years ago but moved away from the area, what they have done with the place is excellent the staff and comfort are second to none, we now live in Marple and will definitely be returning as often as we can. We had a lovely comfy sofa for 2 the luxury seating looked very inviting too. Great place well done savoy cinema.

Unenjoyably cold experience. I wouldn’t recommend going on a cold day as they seem to have heating issues! The whole audience seemed to share my discomfort in being so cold for the entire film. No one removed their coats and the few blankets that were on offer were snatched up straight away. The idea of the theatre is nice but I won’t be returning due to the ridiculous temperature. The seats are comfortable, staff are friendly and the drink and snack selection is good but all totally overshadowed by the temperature.

My wife and I went to see "The Darkest Hour", a magnificent and moving film about Churchill's powerful leadership in the desperate days of 1940. Our beautiful and superbly run local cinema came up to the mark yet again, with its polite and efficient staff making the evening a really enjoyable experience. Long may they continue!

Beautiful cinema. Loved the ambiance and seemed a nicer clientele than at a multiplex. An experience rather than just a trip to the cinema (and did I mention they serve booze and cake?)
