Second time using Vue @ Printworks. Friendly staff, good deals on snacks and drinks. Great seating, super comfortable. Would definitely recommend this cinema if you’re wanting a comfortable movie experience.
Immaculate facilities and good selection of snacks. Reclining seat was comfortable and there was plenty of room on the table to place food and drink during the film. Staff at the food counters were friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the signage to the screens was poorly placed and the member of staff who was checking tickets did not demonstrate good interpersonal skills and was very passive towards us.
Few hours to Kill went and watched Megan. The screens are huge and the seats recline, bagged a seat in the corner on its own, with a plug to charge my phone. Loads of escalators.
The staff were extremely helpful at booking no issues there. But once seated the experience became horrible with a group of kids/teenagers that decided to ruin the film experience. With constant loud behaviour throwing food around and just upsetting all other pay customers including myself. I feel that the ushers seemed to not be bothered by it and allowed it, when this disruptive group should of been removed. I did not complain or ask for these individuals to be removed in fear of retaliation from them. But vast improvements need to be made around this area and how they correctly deal with this situation. Other then that the cinema was clean and well stocked bit of of maze with the lifts not working and no clear signage of were to go.
The newly done up cinema is fab. The reclining seats and the ambience has definitely been an upgrade from the recent past . The prices have gone up a from the recent times but still better than the prices the previous company used to charge. Lots if choice and all the latest movies including a decent range of foreign language movies tend to get released here
Watched Matilda one Friday night with my wife and daughter. Very impressed with the motorised reclining seats. Otherwise standard fare for a Vue cinema. Temperature in the theatre was a bit too cool so 4/5 review.
I have been going to this specific cinema for years and I used to prefer it over every other. I went recently and I was disgusted by the change in prices. The price used to be £4.99 for standard seating, the price has been inflated to £7.99/ £9 It’s really sad to see this especially during the current cost of living crisis in the uk. Unfortunately some people won’t be able to afford entertainment like this. They say it’s because they upgraded the seats but I can’t see how they can justify the price change because of this. Honestly really disappointed because I loved this place but unfortunately I will not be returning.
Excellent cinema, great comfort and amazing humane team! The Vue Cinema Printworks has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, super comfy seating area where you can lay down the seats all the way, with attached tray and great variety of food. Great location, affordable pricing, and incredible customer service :
I was let down by the milkshakes being spoilt out of date milk and leaving me with a most unpleasant evening unless it were the popcorn which I very much doubt that. I don't feel the cinemas are as clearly marked in numbers as they should, I found myself dawdling in a floor that had very little which I don't mind yet it seemed colder in there as it did outside. This cinema to me didn't seem to have had an upgrade. The seats and recliner chairs were certainly the reason this gets a 3 stars as they were comfy wide and relaxing, yet the screen I was watching seemed to be broken on the top left. Coupled to this the sound on the Avatar screening we visited cut off twice as two pivotal points for 3 seconds. Not only this but there was a cracking sound throughout 1/4 of the movie that was most irritating.
The cinema advertises that it is always cheaper to book online, but today it's website charged me 90p a ticket to do so. The prices have increased allegedly to compensate for the new larger seats, which with their trays and cupholders, seem to encourage us to take a picnic in. If I did, it would be from co-op round the corner rather than the usual pricey rubbish you can buy inside.
