This place became horrible! I have got a membership for almost 3 years and i was happy with everything, but now they changing the rules not for customers, they just want to have more money from you. If you cancelled your class 3-4 hours before it started, they will charge 4£ from you just for nothing. Now If I want to go to gym, i need to scan 100 hundred times the QR code and its working after few minutes of trying. Woman’s toilets are out of order for a long time, I can use toilet for disabled people, it’s not a big problem. British lady that is sitting in reception is rude. Cleanes of the swimming pool can be better, but it’s always with lots of hair in it. Changing rooms are dirty as well. I’m paying for this 30£, but it doesn’t feels like it. I hope you will fix it.
A bright, clean and fresh leisure facility.nThe ice rink is in good condition with a compact but pleasant skate hire area, cafe and skate shop.nCoffee vending machine was out of order .nPlenty of spectator seating and lockers.nIce seems well maintained.nSwimming pool on ground floor looked very inviting as did the ground floor cafe with a good number of comfy tub chairs.nReception staff were friendly and helpful.
Bit crowded at entrance but it is half term... You will need member card to get in which is free after registration. I have only been ice skating but there is gym and swimming pool too. Full size ice rink bit bumpy ice. You can get ice skates for £2 no half sizes. Easy to get on, mine were blunt. As it is brand new centre there were some cock ups from staff side. Overall 4 stars as the members card wasn't mentioned and I have queued for half an hour to find out at tills it is needed to get in. Nice and tidy too.
I had never used sapphire before but I had a tour of the facilities that they had buy a helpful member of staff a little while later I decided to use the swimming pool which is excellent and bye my experience is a great way to relax and keep fit so my advice is come along and have a look for yourself
My little one goes to swimming classes here. So far loving it. Most of the swim teachers are amazing and attentive, apart from one that seems more interested in having a chat with the lifeguard rather than pay attention to the kids in the water.
