This GP practice is shocking, they have just changed how you book an on the day appointment, apparently to make it easier to see a Doctor. Yet once again, ringing hang on 8am, no appointments available. In a multi GP practice apparently they can only see 10 patients a day... Money for old rope. Have sent a complaint EMAIL and have also contacted Ombudsman, as I want to know why we are funding such a terrible service. We hardly ever need a GP but when needed I would like to think I could see 1, rather than some snotty receptionist telling me to use Policlinic or OOH Hub.nIn my opinion it is not even worth registering with a GP anymore, as you never see them anyway. Less patients registered means Less funding for inadequate practices.nOh and look, you can't say no stars.... Well that's what it is
The Doctor Karisma Khurrum, checked my 4 year old son this morning today. She suggested that we take our son to Queens Hospital and provide the form that she printed out for blood test.nWe went to Queens hospital and asked receptionist, she said there is no such system that we can have walk in blood test for 4 years old. We have also asked blood test section and they also said the same thing. Children’s outpatient was closed today as well.nnOverall this was a horrible experience throught out the day and all because of this doctor’s poor knowledge. Everyone in the hospital was saying that doctor from the surgery should know about this and we should not be going theough this hassle.nnI really do not know what is going on with NHS right now, but the service is getting worsen day by day. To get any simple treatment feels like battle now a days.
I have just taken my 15y/o daughter to have her first blood test at this surgery. The phlebotomist that see us was so rude, she had no empathy towards my scared daughter at all.Disgraceful behaviour, made a scary experience 100 times worse. She was very rough with my daughter, therefore frightening her even more.If she didn’t want to be there on a Saturday afternoon so she choose a different career, ideally not working with people especially young scared adults.Appalling behaviour.
Many Doctors nowadays are well below standard, came to this surgery for chest pains and the doctor didn’t even move a muscle to check me out just typed on his computer and gave me a prescription.nEven my mechanic double checks my car when I say it has an issue as I’m not a mechanic however my doctor won’t double check a human.nFingers crossed I’ve diagnosed myself correctly.
Called 111 and got an appointment on a Sunday morning... The Doctor was very good, thorough, friendly and polite. The receptionist was also very friendly, helpful and polite. This is a very clean surgery with plenty of seating and toilets. Parking in the road outside
