I went to Samson Gold on my third yes third! visit to the jewellery quarter to try and find my perfect wedding ring - they say 3rd time lucky! I went again with an idea I had in mind but ended up walking away with something completely different after seeing this ring in Samson Gold! I hadn’t seen anything like it and I immediately fell in love with it. The service from the staff is excellent as they are very patient and not pushy/hard sales, they also have a very large selection of wedding rings for men. When placing my order I was originally quoted 5 weeks maximum it would be ready but ended up being called 3 weeks to the day to say it was ready! Really happy with my purchase, thank you very much!
I have been going to Samson gold for 30 years I would not go any where else. Andy and Tom have designed ,made and maintained my rings to a very high standard in all these years,today they still look magnificent and very proud to still wear them. Many thanks to all staff at Samson Gold, Their customer service is exceptional, it is always a pleasure to visit their shop.
I asked them to make a white gold signet ring for my son, he told them the design he wanted, I told them the budget, they dealt with him via email about the design, made & posted him a wax ring to try, he was happy with it, I paid 50% deposit so they went ahead and made it. We collected it when ready, we were very pleased and I paid the balance. Brilliant friendly service. I highly recommend them.
I entered with the intention of finding a spare part for a broken necklace. I could have easily been turned away but they offered to see what they had in the workshop for me. The expertise and knowledge displayed by the staff were impressive. Time was taken to understand my requirements. The service was professional and also carried a personal touch, making the entire experience enjoyable. I left completely satisfied, not only with the spare part I initially sought but also with the overall exceptional service. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and their warm approach make them stand out. I highly recommend for anyone seeking quality service and expertise in the world of gold.
Fantastic staff, service and product. I gave them a rough sketch of a custom design and they delivered. The ring is beautiful, exactly as it was drawn and was completed well in advance of my wedding day. Tom was brilliant to work with and made the process a pleasure. 100% would recommend.
Asked for a wedding band to fit my unusually shaped engagement ring. It was no problem at all - they took my engagement ring to make a wax model which they sent to us for feedback. We were really impressed with the end result and it was very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this place.
I wanted something very specific for my daughters 21st birthday, a replica in gold of what my own mom gave to me many years ago in silver & being from Birmingham it just had to come from the Jewellery Quarter. After a little research I contacted Samson Jewellers & decided they were the jewellers for me. Everything was organised via email and phone as I no longer live in Birmingham and trips back & forth just weren’t feasible. Sarah has been the most delightful, patient, conscientious, helpful, understanding and just “smiley” person I’ve ever dealt with over the phone and email, understanding all of my whims…she just took them all in her stride…I honestly cannot thank her enough. Samson Jewellers are fantastic craftsmen and women and I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for making my daughters stunning, timeless piece, hopefully it will be passed down the generations like mine was and will continue to be. Sarah
Sold some jewellery here and had a ring re- sized. Staff really helpful and offered a great service. Even more interesting was that I discovered it was the same place that in the early 1900s was know as Wright & Hadgkiss where our family was the Hadgkiss part of the business and my Grandad worked.
After having such fantastic service when wanting to design an engagement ring last year, we went back to Samson for our wedding bands. Again the service was fantastic. The member of staff was knowledgeable, listened to our preferences and gave us different costings depending on material used. They kept in touch with us throughout - expected time for the rings to be made and when they were ready for collection. They went above and beyond by cleaning another piece of jewellery I had free of charge as we had purchased the engagement ring from them before. I'd thoroughly recommend Samson to all!
Made the most stunning alexandrite ring I would 100% recommend this place to anyone searching for an engagement ring. Me and my partner looked in many different shops until we came across Samson Gold. I really liked the relaxed environment, the fact they were not in the slightest bit pushy, their informed approach and the fact that they were not judgemental about any style choices we liked. They kept us informed throughout the process and made sure we were happy with everything from the gemstone to the setting. The ring they made is so stunning I almost cried with happyness when I first saw it. The colour change of the alexandrite is impeccable and everyone has complimented the engagement ring. I'd also like to add that they stayed perfectly in our budget. Thank you again Samson Gold you are truly amazing.
