Nobody wants to be in hospital but if you have to be then Bart’s is the place to be.nBart’s is well managed, spotlessly clean, The staff from cleaners, porters, nurses, physios, radiologists, doctors to consultants are extremely warm and friendly, always a big smile, so vital for patients who are a little anxious. You feel you REALLY matter to all the staff, they raise you up!!! I will not name names as it would not be fair to single out individuals from such a fine team.nTo all at Bart’s I send my heartfelt thanks for the care and empathy I received during my stay with you.nWith my vey best wishesnJohn King
since 2018 i have been in communication and under the care/supervision of the Barts Cardiac Devices Team / Cardiology department and they have been nothing short of amazing. everyone from the surgeons to the nurses have always made me feel welcome and cared for. they have always addressed any concerns, also asked the right questions. i had my pacemaker implanted when i was 16 years old so it was a tough decision to make at the time with everyone else in my ward being 50+ years old but since this has been done i have had regular checkups and phonecall appointments covidnnthank you for giving me the confidence to live my life comfortably. i can also contact them via email or phone literally anytime. theyre awesome!
It's the best hospital in London .The nurses and the doctors are the best and they didn't left my Dad for a second moments. They are pure angles.The nurses are very hard working and all the other stuff are very hospitable and helpful. I never forgetnthem.we are very lucky that my father got treatment from them.
Reception at this place are so incompetent that they cannot even fulfil basic skills of firstly answering a telephone and when they do in the cardiology department they provide wrong information! I have since tried to get through and the phone just rings and rings yet when I am at the hospital you see many of them sitting doing nothing! One of the receptionist’s gave me the wrong phone number for the PA of Dr Perry Elliott that never connected and since then I have not been able to get through to reception for months! They say about patients wasting time and resource if they fail to show up for an appointment but I cancelled and they still didn’t get confirmation that I had cancelled! The other thing is since Covid they think nobody else works so have split appointments for HCM patients even though you have to factor cost, travel and time especially when self employed so losing so much more money! Just a shambles and wish I was back the heart hospital where people actually care!
Caring hospital and great service.nWell laid out departments but there are no stairs.
