I recently underwent a ventricular ablation at St Bart’s Hospital and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff was professional, friendly, and attentive to my needs.nnThe medical team lead by professor Lambiase and Johanna Tonka explained the procedure thoroughly, answering all my questions and easing my concerns, and I felt like I was in capable hands the entire time.nnThe facility itself was clean and well-organized, which added to my confidence in the care I was receiving. Post-procedure, the follow-up was excellent, with nurses checking in to ensure my recovery was on track.nnI’m incredibly grateful for the expertise and compassion of everyone involved. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful experience a smooth and positive one! I highly recommend st Bart’s hospital for anyone needing this procedure.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care I received from the medical team at St. Barts Breast Cancer Hospital. From the first consultation to the final follow-ups, every member of the team provided outstanding support, professionalism, and compassion during one of the most challenging times in my life.nnThe nursing and support staff were consistently kind, attentive, and understanding. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, informed, and felt supported throughout every step of my treatment. Every question I had—no matter how small—was answered with patience, clarity, and empathy. I was lucky to be under the care of Miss Jennifer Hu's team. The entire team worked seamlessly together, ensuring that my experience was as positive as possible under the circumstances. I would like to especially thank Michele Wong, the Breast Screening clinical nurse specialist, for her kindness and support every step of the way.nnI also want to highlight the incredible skill and care of my breast surgeon, Mr Darren Patten, who performed my two surgeries with exceptional expertise. From our first meeting, I felt completely confident in his hands. He took the time to explain each step of the process, making sure I fully understood my options and what to expect. His attention to detail and compassionate approach made a world of difference to my physical and emotional recovery. Not only was the surgical outcome excellent, but the personal care and reassurance he provided along the way were invaluable.nnSt. Barts Breast Cancer Hospital is truly a place of hope and healing, filled with professionals who are dedicated to their patients’ well-being. I am deeply grateful to everyone there for the extraordinary care they provided, and I would highly recommend their services to anyone facing a breast cancer diagnosis. This team embodies the highest standards of medical excellence and compassionate care.
I'm honestly fed up with this NHS hospital.nnIt's ridiculous how they handle phone calls - what a complete waste of our tax money! Every single time I try to call, it's the same nightmare: either the line is 'busy' yeah, right, or when you finally get through, they bounce you around to different departments.nnThe worst part? After being forced to wait on hold for half an hour, someone finally picks up only to hang up on you without even helping!nnHow is this acceptable?nIt feels like they're just taking our money and giving nothing back. I've had better customer service from budget supermarkets! with all the respect for the supermarketsnnIf I ran my job this badly, I'd be fired on the spot.nWhy should NHS staff get away with this kind of treatment?
To protect members of the public it’s important to call out ENT Nara Orban for her appalling service. If you have an appointment with her please make sure you get a second opinion from a competent ENT - she gives generic answers in complete contradiction to highly experienced ENTs, she treats long term chronic symptoms as trivial, and she makes statements that are untrue and extremely distressing for the patient, ultimately discharging the patient with no further treatment - even when it has been confirmed that they actually need surgery. Any good ENT would agree that this career ENT should be struck off the GMC register, and it would be good for the NHS and GMC to check and evaluate our doctors so that patients can get the treatment they need. Always be suspicious when a consultant doesn’t have ANY reviews online. Stay positive and find someone GOOD who can help you - you deserve better. Take care please!
Treatment of patients at this hospital is horrible. My father had to sit in a corridor for four and a half hours crying out of pain and waiting for painkillers. When my father complained about his excruciating pain he was told by a member of staff “don’t worry you’re not going to die”. I find this absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. NHS and this hospital specifically has horrible service. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!!
