I have been ringing the number for Picasso Ward for 3 days every 2 hours from 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. The phone rings for 2 minutes and and the reply is " Sorry there is no one to take your call. Please try later." This is rubbish. Is this the " caring" NHS?
Went there to get a blood test done. I parked at the king georges and walked to barley court which was 3/5min walk. Barley court did have its own parking but i couldnt find its entry. There wasnt any queues outside so i buzzed and the nurse let me in. There were 4 ppl at the station n everyone was ready to receive patients n keep things moving. It was clean inside n i didnt see anything that would put me off. The nurse who took my blood was friendly n sweet.
My mum got discharged they didn't give back an expensive phone charger and charging lead after 7 calls they say they don't have it it. Or say they will contact me but I've yet too receive a call back. I will be contacting 101 as this is clearly theft.
Oyin that works on knight ward is so rude she shouts at patients and never smiles. She treats us like we're not here doesn't say good morning. Gets angry when we struggle. So many staff act like this job is too much if it is go work in tesco ffs
Disappointed in HNS system. Appointment booked arrived 20min earlier. Forgot the papers for the blood test could get them on a picture from my partner there was no option at all to be accepted. The “carting ladies” took 10-15min to explain to me that won’t happened instead of finding a solution. Worst customer service ever!
Primitive simple-minded village people who left Africa to work at one of the worst hospitals that this great country has to offer.

Rude staff, very unprofessional and show no care os sympathy, they shout at patients and I even witnessed one nurse pushing a patient because she was 'loud and annoying'
My sister was first admitted into this hospital in 2019 and I only have bad things to say about it. Had she received proper care in the first few weeks, she may have actually recovered. Now I have very little hope as its been over 2 years and her symptoms have only solidified. When there, she has been attacked multiple times in this hospital. The staff are quite clearly negligent, as these attacks could have been avoided had the situation been diffused. On paper, my sister was supposed to have regular check ups every 5 minutes as she was a risk to herself. In reality, they had not once checked on her in the many visits that me and my mum made - the fact that she could be attacked more than once under their supposed care proves this further. On top of this, my sister had items stolen from her by other patients, which she had very little control over as 1. she is not in the right mind, and 2. Even if she was, the patients cannot even lock their own rooms. My mum had to demand that the staff locked it after my sister came out whenever we would visit since they were the only ones able to Whether or not they did this when we were away is questionable. The last time she was admitted to Goodmayes was around Christmas of 2019. She hasn't been in a hospital since. The home treatment team are almost worse, as they would much rather delegate the jobs that they are supposed to be doing onto someone else - until finally you have made a full circle back to square 1. It's actually ridiculous how bad the quality of care is for mentally vulnerable people. We are having to do their jobs for them, looking after my sister who is quite clearly becoming a risk to us here, and yet it would be quite literally a death sentence to send her back there. How is it that the emergency services police and ambulance staff are able to deal with mentally vulnerable patients better than the people whose job it actually is to do this task specifically? If you can, send in a complaint to NELFT as they are the Ofstead equivalent to these establishments. Letting the MP know is good too. It's about time we sorted out this mess of a system. It's not okay. It never was.
Low IQ nurses and unhelpful doctors. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
