Great venue and food. Been a few times and never been disappointed. I used this venue twice for a large get together and the prices where competitive and they where happy for me to prepare the tables with certain bits before guests arrived.

I went here with work colleagues a month ago. We had a lovely meal. I had the salmon which was very nice. Good atmosphere and a nice view of the downs. You can bring your dog if you sit outside. Quite popular with dog owners. Not as expensive as I thought it might be.

Such a lovely place to sit inside or out, most recently spent an hour or so sat outside in the sun with a couple of drinks. They were busy but it didn't take long to get a drink however I heard the food wait was pretty long - not surprising on a beautiful sunny lunchtime. Food did look great though!

Visited with my two sons, 4 and 6, were warmly welcomed and that's great because they were a little excitable!! Amazing food... Salmon... 😘 kids loved theirs too. Great views of the race course and was an easy walk from the holiday inn where we stayed.

Very disappointed, walked in to get drinks before ordering some food and the manager was moody already giving bad looks. Then my wife went inside to get a table and sit inside while I put the dog in the car with our daughter and again the manager gave her dirty looks because she was wearing wellies told her in a rude tone to put covers over the wellies. Such a rude man she told him that she's never been spoken to like that before and walked out. There's way to communicate with a bit of professionalism which he was lacking.. If you're not 50 and over with a posh accent don't bother going there!!!! Hunter wellies not allowed!!!
