So good. The people here are so friendly and happy. The manager even let me make a cocktail with him for fun! Such a great atmosphere and happy place. Food is also great. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Lovely place great beer garden ,they also have an inside restaurant area ,dog friendly too nice food... Parking: Yes there are parking spaces outside on the road but I'm not one hundred percent sure but I think you have to pay in the morning but the pub opens at 12 so you should be fine.
We came here for dinner and the first impression is how cozy it feels. The fire place is a great touch, something you don't see at many pubs. The food is simply great. I had the rump of lamp with a bottle of merlot. Both compliment each other incredibly well. The lamp is so juicy and pack with flavour. We will definitely come back again.
Went here as a large group. Staff took the same drink orders several times, can’t fault the food it was lovely. The restaurant was pretty empty, there was only one other group on a table of 4. Shame about the service though as one of the younger staff members got snappy when asking us if we wanted ice with our drinks he had one glass without ice and I said I didn’t mind either way and told us to ‘stick to our orders’. Inappropriate and soured our lunch a bit, haven’t had an issue like this before at this restaurant. Please treat your customers with more respect. The other server a young girl left drinks on the other side of the table which was more than an arm’s reach away… come on Amato you are a premium restaurant - train your staff!
Excellent service from the get-go. We were seated very quickly, and staff on hand throughout. Only criticism was the chorizo in the lamb dish. Fantastic, lamb, doesn't need chorizo thrown in! Puddings are nice, but small and probably overpriced. All in all, a great location if you want good food in a pleasant setting with great staff.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, outstanding service.
Excellent dinner, staff and location. Visited twice inside a week and all food consumed by everyone was first class! The squid starter was quite exceptional. Lovely in the garden if the weather is fine. Also afternoon tea offered, although a little pricey but still nice as a treat or with visitors
Great atmosphere and good customer service. The menu is fairly extensive with reasonable prices. Nice selection of drinks too. Interior is modern and clean. They have a small private room that would be ideal for large-ish group to have an extra privacy. Garden is lovely, with a number of tables available, great during the hot summer months
Lovely spot, with a quaint garden. Great food and all for a very reasonable price. The manager seemed to be having a bad day and initially lacked a sense of humour, but then became quite rude. He was apologetic in the end, but the damage had been done. Bar the service issue would probably have given 4-4.5 stars, so assuming you don't have the same issue it's a great place to eat
I love the outdoor terrace, I had eaten inside before but did not know the terrace and garden existed. Great on a Summers evening, really good food too.
